definitely,gigi
Have you seen any one else? I mean, have you seen Cuducini or Westerveld, or even Richard Wright of late. Gigi is playing good consistent football, but he is not the best keeper out there right now.

Cudicini is a great keeper... in fact he's one of the best. But did anybody see him yesterday against Arsenal???

Henrys goal... What a screw up!

sorry to say i agree with ian, look at barthez, schwarzer and cudicini before you guys claim gbuffon is the best keeper.
woah, woah, woah, when did I ever say that Barthez or Schwarzer were in the same class as Buffon? Barthez hasn't played well since WC '98 and Schwarzer is above average but not much more than that. Keepers I would rate with or above Buffon are: Cuducini, Westerveld, Stekelenbourg, Robinson, and Given.

:eek::eek::eek:.
Ian, you got to be joking! Buffon is the best.:thumb:.
Given and Westerveld makes too many, :howler:.
Robinson is pretty good, Gigi is more proven, more talented goalkeeper.
Cudincini is good but even he admitted Gigi is much better than him.
By the Erik, how do rate Stekelenbourg? I never seen him play before.

I never said that all of those players were better than Buffon. I merely said that I would rate them of the same class or better.

Nothing can be compared to Gigi, just think that most goalkeepers proove their value usually after they reach 25-26 years and Buffon is only 24 and one of the best already.

all i said was that they were playing better football at the time i said that,i never said they could be better than buffon if they were all playing in the same form.

That, and he's the only really young keeper I know ;)

Name: Stekelenburg

Date of birth: 22/9/1982

Place of birth: Haarlem (North-Holland, close to Amsterdam)

Here's a pic in front of the Amsterdam Arena:
(For the record, I got the pic off the internet and I don't know the chick fan)
