Casillas is extremely talented but I still think he has not improved very much in dealing with crosses. Nonetheless fabulous talent.

Karlberg,
I agree Peter was very good.:) but you also have to give Peruzzi a credit. ;)
I think come out waise Peter is better by streets but in terms of shot stopping, Peruzzi is definitely better of the two. In the end, it is a choice of which keeper you want. If you charismatic goalkeeper then Schemichel is your choice, but if you want a technical best goallkeeper than Peruzzi is the man.

BTW, Edwin was very good for Ajax in the 90s.
:)

As for Schemichel playing for ManU, I have no discrimination against it. After all, he was the guy who lifted the struggling giants to one of the premier teams in the world.

I think that it is a matter of opinion, as to be honest ,at his best ,imo, no one goalkeeper, that I have witnessed, is superior to Schmeichel. He even made the greatest save I have ever seen live when Man united played Rapid Vienna in Cl and he saved a certain goalbound header quite miraculously:cool:Ask Newcastle fans how he broke their hearts with a quite magnificent performance against them at St, james' park which helped Man united claw back a 12 pt deficit

As for Cassillas being suspect with crosses , a lot of goalies are found wanting in that dept., even our very own Buffon exhibits an alarming weakness in that area

Lets just drop the Schmeichel talk... cuz obviously no great danish players will ever get the recognition that they deserve. :(

No, I think most people would regard highly of Michael, Brian Laudrup and Peter Schemichel. Certainly, I do.;)
At the end of day, the difference between top class players are minimal that it just matter of opinion and personal taste.:)
After all, everyone is entitled to have their opinions.;)

Sure! I'm not attacking you or anything. I'm just a bit irritated :irritate: cuz they never are considered as the best. Everyone agrees that they are very good, but not many would have called Laudrup (Michael) or Schmeichel the worlds best when they where at their best.

I think that both of them deserved it. Thats just my opinion...

(maybe a bit harsh, i just don't like that Rommedahl)

Well, Norway deserved it as they beat us 3-1 just prior to the World Cup! Talking about damaging the confidence. Geez~ couldn't they let us win.;):D

Seriously, I am also not a great fan of Dennis R. I mean, his pace alone is illegal!:D

BTW, Karlberg,
you should consider yourself lucky when you got Peter S, Laudrup brothers, to look up to.;)
If you are Japanese like me, well, we have a "misskick" Nakayama, "I confuse my self too" Miura Kazu too look up! Only classy player in the past I can think of Ihara.;)

Also, in all honesty Nakata, and Nakamura are an ordinary player in the big teams like Parma, Juve, Lazio and Milan. They are harldy the world's best!

The one with Tanaka as a main character right?
I forget the name of school but it was based on Shizuoka if I remember it correctly.
:)

But, fantasista is far better.;) Sakamoto is just amazing. I quite like Kondo as well.:D. The most of all, the writer is a big fan Italia, just pity that he likes Milan.:fero:
