I think he meant the vast amounts of land in Siberia would be easy to be free in although extremely boring, I don't think he was talking about the people.

The problem with this guy is that he believes that he is an authentic descendant of the Roman Empire and his thoughts are wise as those of the Greek philosophers and we must always agree with him without arguments.

Let him live in his past and to his dictatorships that he admires. I don't give a shit for him even if he insults me or not.

Greek philosophers weren't wise, they just thought they were. In fact, all ancient philosophers were arrogant except for the one in my signature.

For me Socrates is the best because he never regretted for his ideas and he preferred to die for them.

Socrates :agree:

Btw, he's considered a prophet by us
I really didn't know that philosophers can be prophets in Islam. Christianity from the other side fought very mightily against philosophy and considered them blasphemous. Thanks for the article.

Indeed, which is interesting because I always thought of Islam as a more conservative religion than Christianity.

First of: you should never question me. Other people should, but you should not. If my opinion differs from yours, you go with mine. That should be your first rule in life. This way you are minimising your retardedness.

Next point. I am a descendant of the Roman Empire. Every single guy in Western Europe and America is a descendant of the Roman Empire. Greek philosophers and Roman structure made us who we are. If you are thinking about question that, think about LAW and shut up.

Greek philosophers weren't arrogant. They had theories they defended.

Socrates :agree:

Socrates didn't even write his ideas down FFS so we don't really know. But that's kind of what you religious guys like huh, dubious text.

Anyways, Socrates didn't die for believing in one god, if that's what you think he did. You might want to check the original charge against him.

No probs mate.

It's not blasphemous to us at all. We've always been open to philosophy and science that doesn't contradict anything in the Qur'an.

Indeed, which is interesting because I always thought of Islam as a more conservative religion than Christianity.
Only the Ahmadiyya sect in Islam accepts him as a prophet though, so I can't speak for other Muslims.

That link has other very interesting subjects, everything from Darwanism to Extraterrestrial life. Just today I was having a discussion with my roommate about Darwanism actually and we were discussing and analyzing what the book had to say about it.

If you guys read it feel free to shot me a hollar ;)

Oh and just for the fun of it:

NOT TRUE.

Who do you think tried to incorporate Socrates into their religion? Furthermore philosophy and christianity have always gone hand in hand in the Middle Ages. Seriously, don't talk about subjects you don't know anything about. I'm not the biggest defender of christianity, but that's just a load of crap.

P.S.: you might want to explain to my obviously incredibily stupid brain just how christianity fought against Greek philosophers as there were no christians around the time most of those philosophers delivered their speeches. I'd agree that the worldly powers of some medieval popes went a bit too far, but to say they altered the past..
