First of: you should never question me. Other people should, but you should not. If my opinion differs from yours, you go with mine. That should be your first rule in life. This way you are minimising your retardedness.

Next point. I am a descendant of the Roman Empire. Every single guy in Western Europe and America is a descendant of the Roman Empire. Greek philosophers and Roman structure made us who we are. If you are thinking about question that, think about LAW and shut up.

It's not blasphemous to us at all. We've always been open to philosophy and science that doesn't contradict anything in the Qur'an.

Indeed, which is interesting because I always thought of Islam as a more conservative religion than Christianity.

Only the Ahmadiyya sect in Islam accepts him as a prophet though, so I can't speak for other Muslims.

That link has other very interesting subjects, everything from Darwanism to Extraterrestrial life. Just today I was having a discussion with my roommate about Darwanism actually and we were discussing and analyzing what the book had to say about it.

Who do you think tried to incorporate Socrates into their religion? Furthermore philosophy and christianity have always gone hand in hand in the Middle Ages. Seriously, don't talk about subjects you don't know anything about. I'm not the biggest defender of christianity, but that's just a load of crap.


P.S.: you might want to explain to my obviously incredibily stupid brain just how christianity fought against Greek philosophers as there were no christians around the time most of those philosophers delivered their speeches. I'd agree that the worldly powers of some medieval popes went a bit too far, but to say they altered the past..
