    I really dont.

By the way im surprised how much Dutch sounds like English. Definitely a pleasant surprise.
Yeah, grammatically they are actually very similar. Much more so than German and Dutch for example.

You're lucky to be learning it in Holland though. In Belgium local dialects and accents are everywhere.

Ya not too far. I was in Belgium last year, took the train from Brussels to Rotterdam. I wasn't too happy when I found out how close Antwerp and Rotterdam were.

Rotterdam isnt that close man :p

I was there for work 2 weeks ago. Is a fkn long drive tbh :D
A one hour drive is too close to Seven for my liking. But what can you do, its a small world :p

On a more serious note Zach and Seven. Do you guys use English mainly in your jobs or Dutch? also from your experience, how important is fluency in Dutch when working in multinationals in the area?

I use Dutch. At my girlfriend's job they talk pretty much strictly English.

Ik woon hier drie jaar, maar ik spreek nog geen Nederlands!
    Correct:

I really look forward to insulting Arsenal in my native tongue.
Btw I don't think it's necessary to insult Arsenal anymore.

I assume you watch them play.

Iederen spreekt goed engels. Dat maakt het moelijker om te leren.

    Forgive my horrible Dutch haha
En als de mensen spreken nederlands dan spreken ze toch niet gemakkelijk nederlands waarvan je iets kan grappen of leren, ze spreken echt vol bizarre uitdrukkingen.
