Tacchinardi was terrible in his last season under Lippi also. Zanetti is much better nowadays(Zanetti is a more complete player), Paro and Marchisio offer different characteristics. Giannichedda is more or less the same. Gratitude is another thing, I also like Tacchinardi, but he wouldn't add much or anything at all to our side. He might return, with his loan stint coming to an end, but he certainly won't (and shouldn't)be a starter.
could it be because he was partnered by flop of the year appiah, not davids? zanetti may be a bit better, though im not convinced with that entirely (then again im biased about alessio just as you are about camo ;)), but if were are talking about someone partnering beckham in the middle, tacchinardi is the best for that role from zanetti, gianni, paro and marchisio. someone like emerson would be perfect, but hey, where can we get someone like that?

bes, tacchinardi was always kicking people.

Moreover, we could really use somebody who can take free kicks on Juventus because we haven't really had a freekick specialist in quite a while.

legrottaglie came in to add depth to defence, i never really exopected much from him, all defenders bar zambrotta were at their lowest that year. appiah, however, was voted serie a midfielder of the year in the previous season, and was suposed to fill davids' shoes so the expectations for him were much higher, imo.

what is going on?the posts are a bit jumbled up, someone has quoted me before my post??

i am with fli on tacchi though i agree we need to look forwards not back, we need experienced players to help the youngsters adapt to the rigours of serie a, for me alessio would be great at this

Exactly why he flopped, because expectations from him were big...

Muntari is world class. He has a crisp technique on the ball, and ability to hit ball sweetly. On top of that the man, just like his compariot Mikael Essien, is one physical specimen on the pitch. Aside from big discrepancies in name value, Muntari is superior in almost every aspect of his game than Beckham.

My only concern for him is that as long as he stays in Italia for more than 4 years, I think he is almost sure bet to break Montero's record for most reds in Serie A history.:D. He has a talent of making Sissoko look like controlled player.

There is a HUGE mess in the forum clock.

When Andy mentioned a freekick specialist, he did not only mean scoring directly from one but also one who crosses those freekicks that cause havoc in the defence, the indirect ones.

Oh yeah?

So when did Juve have such a player? Could you refresh my memory please?

Zanetti is a lot better.

Anyway, how is Tacchinardi doing at Villareal lately? Haven't seen them play in quite a while.

Love your signature, by the way.

He didn´t play in last 4 games, his coach is experimenting something by putting him in defense.

I can see where beckham could be of use to use. He doesn't use his speed in his game, more his technique and positioning which suits Juve and Serie A.

If we get him for cheap money, and not pay him so much I think it would be a good idea but only a short term solution. His crosses alone are enough to convince me.
