Not only not intelligent as a player, and not intelligent as a person as well.
What kind of fool boasts to the whole world about "being clever enough to get himself booked by intentionally fouling somone" :wallbang:

rumour has it that Becks is on his way out in January.
    Seems like someone's still interested.

Becks is by far the most homosexual player IN THE WORLD. He paints on clear nail polish b4 games so he doesn't chip his nails. He is WORTHLESS, he has no left boot, no positional sense, and he is stupid enough to get an intentional booking, against WALES.
Also, he tackles worse than my grandmother, and she's dead. Teams who are thinking of buying him might as well spend their money on someone from Chinbok Dragons.

    1. I don't see how him being a homosexual makes him a worse player.
    2. He's not homosexual.

He paints on clear nail polish b4 games so he doesn't chip his nails.
    1. Would you mind citing your source.
    2. Again, I don't see how this makes him a worse player anyway.

    He is WORTHLESS,
    1. Financially, that's not what his bank statements say.
    2. On the field, he has helped ManU to major trophies over the years.

    he has no left boot,
Actually, he can shoot ok with his left foot. He's scored a few goals with it over the years and he's a midfielder. (ex. his goal vs. Chelsea a couple of seasons aga...)
Why would anyone want to use an "average" foot when his other foot is almost magical.

    no positional sense,
If you're referring to his time in Madrid, then how can you blame him when he isn't even a central-defensive midfielder/ballwinner. He's a RM.

and he is stupid enough to get an intentional booking, against WALES.
    1. I actually thought his intentional booking was quite smart so he won't play the next game (he has a slight injury), so i wouldn't call him stupid. "Careless" or "unfair" would be a better choice of wording since hhe obviously broke the rules intentially... I wouldn't do something like that and It's improper that someone as famous as him would do it.

However, if you like the word stupid, there is a context that fits. It can be used to describe Beck's choice to admit that he got the card intentially.

Also, he tackles worse than my grandmother, and she's dead.
He's a pretty good tackler for a RM.

I remember when I was 8 years old and the best insult you could muster about someone was, "He's gay".
That's still not as bad as using it as an argument!

And he is stupid enough to get an intentional booking, against WALES.
He is clever by deliberately creating a foul so that he gets himself suspended while he knows he will be out for an injury (rib injury to be exact). I wouldn't say clever, cunning is an appropriate word. He plays with the rules so that he doesn't need to waste another chance of getting suspended in the future International matches. For once I thought he was clever, then he confesses to the whole world that he delibrately made a foul to get himself suspended, and he almost lost his England Captain armband.

So the moral of the story is: Keep ur mouth shut. Especially to the media.

Becks is WORTHLESS, the statement about his nails came from an August 2003 issue of World Soccer. You probably are right tho about how he "is not gay," but I am sure there could be a hefty debate on that as well. Also, anyone can score with their left foot, put the ball on the goal-line and all you have to do is touch it, all I am saying is that his left foot has many quantities of weakness over his right.

His left foot is very weak compared to other right-footed players such as Zidane, Figo, and even Del Piero.

I also agree that Real made a stupid decision from a footballing standpoint in buying Beckham. Yes, the allure of Beckham to the Asian world brings in a lot of cash for Real, so it was a good decision economically. But so far Real are feeling the effects of having Beckham being a role player in the Madrid side. In other words, money and overrated football players do not win championships.

has beckham really been that good for Madrid's marketing?

Sure he sells the most shirts for any sporting player on the planet and yes he is a god in Asia. But so far they risk losing money by failing in the CL and the way la liga is going they might not even make the uefa cup even in 2005/06. Also the trend of the biggest players going to Madrdid seems to be disolving with Ronaldinho, Viera and others all opting to stay away from the Bernabaeu.
