Well you might consider that his future has been a question mark for like two years now. Playing for a club on a wage that is way below par, a club that won't resign him for a decent contract (by market standards) and knowing that his current expires in 2005, it's probably been obvious to him that unless he does sign an extension he is leaving this summer. So what else is he gonna say? He has no idea where he's gonna be next year.

:groan:
exactly.

I imagine that the faces in Juventus are not smiling for Trez. Like us.. i think that the jUventus management is planning to sell him.... and get the money because now that Nedved wants to commit to juventus so much.. maybe they will give him a chance.

But with Trez is different.

If we will sell him.. i thikn that a player like Cavenaghi could be an excellent replacement... he have more mobility, goof header, a great free kick shoot and dribbles.

Plus he is young.

Sell him, with the money we get we could but a couple of young defenders and a replacement for him!
ofcource, sell DP and buy 3 young defenders, after that sell Micolli and DV and buy more defenders and some crap player from division C2.... It would be wery nice... All of us admire "nice" defencive football.......

If Barca want Treze we can exchange him with Kluivert + money...
I always rated former Ajax star better then Trezeguet. IMHO Kluivert will give more chances for DP to score, so it would be enough of goals if DP and K would score 17 + 17 :D

And please don't say that he was crap in Italy then he was playing in Milan, just remember Davids..

Oh well, history is yet again going in circles. We've crowned Vieris, Baggios, Zidanes... We've made money off of them and reinvested it.

This year we'll send Trez to Chelsea. $35m nowadays will get us even more "stuff" than Real's $70 million did three years ago. If things are fine next year- no major purchases. If we screw up- Nedved or Del Piero will be sold.

This is how we ended up with seven Champions League finals and have two stars shining on our jerseys. This is what makes Juventus the greatest football team in the world!

He is 28
Patrick Kluivert
Barcelona
birth date: 7/1/1976
birth place: Amsterdam
birth Nation: Netherlands
Height: 188
Weight: 81
nationality: Netherlands
Position: Forward

And
David Trezeguet
Juventus
birth date: 10/15/1977
birth place: Rouen
birth Nation: France
Height: 186
Weight: 78
nationality: France
Position: Forward

So they are almost the same age... And still can play up to 32-33
Kluivert is more pacey, agile and better dribler.... :D

Selling Trez for 35 m would be nice, but risky as well. If Moggi use the money like when we bought Buffon, Nedved and Thuram, its ok even I would hate to loose Trez, couse imo he is our most valuable player event many of you dont recognize it. But if Moggi use the money to pay some 10 mil more for DYO + buying 2 Legro and 3 Appiah, that perspective makes me very anxious...

Kluivert is playing poorly this season, and his track record in Italy is not good. It would be a serious risk to bring hiim to Juventus and I think that the risk would be too big for Lippi and Moggi.

How about this: we sell Di Vaio and Del Piero for cash and get Gilardino and Zlatan, and sell Trezeguet to Barcelona for Saviola and cash.

We'd have plenty of money left to buy defenders and a playmaker, and whoever we need :coo:l:

Yes we can then drop Gila and Zlatan and bring back DP and Trez whom we need. :howler:
