Suggestion: keep DP and Trez (duh), unless we get a bigass bid for Trez in which case we should consider selling provided a comparable replacement is available (no Zlatan, Cavenaghi, Kluivert etc, I'm talking a top class striker like Vieri, Crespo et al). We obviously re-sign Trez, sell Di Vaio and get Gila. And to free up cash, Thuram and Nedved.

Vieri or Crespo? There's absolutely no reason to sign either one of them. They are both old and expensive, not what we need. We need cheaper younger players. The idea of selling Trez for big money is to get a better replacement (which Zlatan or Cavenaghi would be) and have money for other things.

in regards to selling trez to barca, it would be wise to try and snap up a player or two from them in exchange.

Yeah, Kuranyi is good, but generally he's not rated as high as Cavenaghi or Zlatan. He certainly doesn't have their footskills, but he's probably a better aerial player and certainly more of a pure striker.

honestly, if we could get zlatan and cavenaghi for next season, i wouldnt mind selling trezeguet and di vaio. who knows, we may even have cash left over for a creative midfielder or world class defender.

i'm a little sceptical about gilardino taking over trez,he seems to be improving every game and has bags of ability but i dunno about how he would prove in europe.

I'm not sure why you think that's so easy. If teams know we've got tons of cahs, they'll want a lot out of us.
