This is the first time I seen lineups of Norway vs Italy. And the 3 best outfield players on both teams are all Norwegians. Haaland, Odegaard and Sorloth.

I would take Nusa, very skilled and talented young winger, over anyone Italy started in that conservative hack of italian midfield.

WARNING: Rant incoming.

What a disgusting day for Italian football. I'm fucking ropeable after watching that performance. What a shit way to start my long weekend FFS.

Out of all the games that have happened since Italy winning the 2006 World Cup, this has to be up there as one of the most embarrassing perfomances I've ever seen. There has not been one game that warrants Spalletti getting paid any type of salary for coaching. He is an absolute clown. No urgency. No desire. No plan. Useless cunt. This guy's a dinosaur and breaks relationships with his own players.

A serious federation sacks the coach in this situation.

But forget Spalletti, this isn't just a football problem.

The fish rots from the head and the entire rotten cabal needs to be torn down. Italian football is so sick at every level. The government needs to remove the FIGC, conduct thorough investigations into their practices and dealings with clubs, political ties and interference, audit their finances and then codify changes in administration and then run a new election where every position is re-advertised throughout the organisation and whereby no one over the age of 50 can be appointed to break the ties with a generation who know nothing but how to fill their own pockets.

But this won't happen.

Gravina will be there until he's 90. In Italy, if you are 70+ you are just getting started in these roles. Gravina got reappointed this year with 98.6% of the vote despite being under formal investigation for fraud, embezzlement and money laundering and he had Ceferin and Infantino by his side, who both flew in for the vote. The stench goes to the very top.

I just wanted to also mention, please don't let this distract you from the fact that Brescia Calcio most likely will die today. 114 years of history, erased. Cellino is refusing to put more money into the club and the deadline has passed, so Brescia will be declared bankrupt and whoever takes over will be starting in Serie D.

BUT NOT A SINGLE FUCKING WORD on a certain club with 1 billion in debt and also had delayed salary payments? Oh no, that club is not up for discussion...

Italy would probably have more World Cups than Brazil if not for WW2 and the almost-unbeatable Grande Torino team being wiped out in the plane crash. That team pretty much made up the bulk of Italy during that time (with a Juve goalkeeper lol).

You can’t just discount trophies won from another era, it doesn’t work that way. Just because they’re shit now (clearly) it wasn’t always this way, and they have been one of the few genuine world football powers and have the history and heritage to back it up.

I agree with the rest of your post in regards to Italy’s current problems. I don’t think anything will change any time soon either.
Lets not get into world cup wins close to
World wars bruh.

That leaves a rather large question mark over the 1934 win where Benito fixed it.

I totally agree with what your saying, but here's the kicker, Carraro, the prick who didn't send down intermafia for recoba's fake passport and because the owner, spent so much money is running for the coni president, the olympic committee of italy , this fucktard is 85 years old, time to fuck or die already, italy is such a gong show, no wonder nothing ever gets done, old man's club or in this case dickless wonders club.

looks like Spalletti is likely to resign... Gravina? no shameless clown thinks he's not the problem. What a piece of shit, this is why I no longer support Italy, anything that carries the letters FIGC can fuck off.
