Sweden is a decent draw.
An ultra defensive team like Northern Ireland,Ireland or Greece would cause more problems, while Switzerland, Croatia and Denmark are better than Sweden.
That's why those 3 teams have been in Pot 1 with Italy and Sweden in Pot 2 like the Irish two and Greece.

You do know that the temperature has dropped to around 0° C in Turin in December/January right? I really dont see a big deal here.

Ventura going to replace Montella you mean?

How good is this Sweden team?

Who is the best player since Zlatan retired from national team?
Not at all good and usually Italy would knock them out easily but this Italy with this coach make the encounter more interesting.

I agree. Will be interesting to watch. Though even if Italy lack quality, it's also a poor Swedish team imo.

What, you think it doesn't get cold in Italy in winter, especially up north?
I think they're not used to playing at those conditions, not just the temperature, but also moisture and wind. F.e. today in Stockholm 7 °C and wind is 13 km/h while in Torino it's 14 °C and wind is 0km/h, quite a difference if you ask me, I doubt that in November the weather difference will be smaller

Come on dude, the weather won't be a factor. Swedens late autumn weather is fairly mild, and these Italians are all from North Italy mainly.

Buffon
Zappacosta - Bonucci - Chiellini - Spinazzola
Verratti - Marchisio - Jorginho
Bernardeschi - Belotti - Insigne

Bench: Donnarumma, Perin - Darmian, Barzagli, Rugani, De Sciglio - Florenzi, De Rossi, Gagliardini - Candreva, Immobile, Zaza

This moron Ventura is going to lose Jorginho to Brazil though. He probably doesn't even see him as Italian.

This season:
Eder 0 goals 8 games
Balotelli 8 goals 12 games

At least Jorginho got called up. And Zaza deserved call up, 9 goals in league, only behind Messi as league top scorer.

So if Jorginho doesnt play he could still end up called up for Brazil at the World cup? Or what is that situation. He seemed linked to be called up by Brazil couple of weeks ago.

So Ace Ventura pretty much has to give him minutes here to make sure he is italian capped now? In a frigging playoff. Good job Ventura. You had months to do this.

Jorginho deserves to start, but I'm sure he won't. I'm just glad he got called up, surely Ventura wouldn't have called him if he doesn't plan on using him.
