Montolivo, Balotelli and Osvaldo are suspended for the match against Bulgaria.

Gilardino is Prandelli favorite so I think he will start the match against Bulgaria, hopefully Gabbiadini will get some minutes in the second half.

I don't know, might be too soon since he returned to playing. Maybe he'll be called up next time.

Barzagli went home & will probably be replaced by Ogbonna.

I really do not want osvaldo to be called up anymore, hopefully rossi will replace him. Prandelli loves gila, but even when quags was in great form early in the season he still didnt get called up. And why wasn't De sciglio called up? Once criscito gets fit we'll finally actually have a good natural lb

Mancini or Allegri after Prandelli?
By Football Italia staff

Rumours continue to circulate that Cesare Prandelli will quit after the World Cup, so Roberto Mancini and Max Allegri are in the frame for the Italy job.

The Coach refused to rule out an exit following the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, only telling journalists this in Monday’s Press conference.

“The moment we have mathematical certainty of qualification for the World Cup in Brazil, which for me is the only thing that counts, I will tell you my decision.”

It’s widely believed Prandelli will walk away for a position at a top club, so the race is on to find his successor.

Former Manchester City boss Mancini is the current hot favourite thanks to his experience in Italy and abroad.

Crucially, he is also unattached at the moment and would be available to prepare for this new role.

Allegri is also a very strong contender, as his Milan contract runs out in June 2014.

Luciano Spalletti can be considered an outside bet, as he is still tied down to Zenit St Petersburg.

I don't like Allegri but if it's between him & Mancini, I think he's a slightly better choice.
Definitely will be one of those two hacks. And the Italian NT will regress by about 20 years after all the good work Prandelli has done so far.

Spalletti would be my favourite choice. Very similar footballing philosophy to Prandelli and less of a fuckwit than Allegri and Mancini.

FI via Sky Sports are saying that Zach and Capello are the newest names for the bench.

These four names are obvious choices, but I`m sure that none of them can do a better job than Prandelli.
However, right now I think the best choice would be Ancelotti.

Ancelotti and Conte are by far the two best Italian coaches at the moment, if club commitments weren't an issue, it'd be between them two.

Little test: Without looking at the call up list, as quick as possible, check Alexx's pics, look at the guy who is to Pirlo's left and the other one who is directly under him, and tell me their names :p
