If Italy can have Egyptians and Argentinians in their attacking line-up, I see no problem with having a foreign coach if the better Italian ones are not available.
It's just not going to happen, especially with so many Italian coaches in circulation. It's not like the England team where you are struggling to find one good coach. There are a lot of Italian coaches with medals and accolades, it's just getting one that isn't already being paid €10m p/a or actually wants to be a part time coach.

The FIGC would rather give it to an unproven ex-player than a foreign coach, there is a lot of pride in the pedigree and methods of Italian coaches.

Gila should be a sub at best. I think Insigne should play some more.
Insigne should always play.

Gilardino and Gabbiadini are the only CFs available for the Bulgaria match. Gilardino will start.

Football Italia predict:

Buffon
Abate Bonucci Chiellini Antonelli
De Rossi Pirlo Motta
Candreva Giaccherini
Gilardino

That'll probably be it. Although I wish we played with a back 3 but maybe Barzagli's injury changes everything.
So a loss against Bulgaria, how fun.

Well you can't be that sure with Guidolin or Spalletti, both are good coaches without a top team just like Prandelli was when he joined the Nazionale and he turned out pretty well this far. Makes much more sense than hiring bad coaches who already "proved" themselves with top teams like Mancini, Allegri or Zaccheroni.

Well, firstly El Shaarawy was born in Italy. He's Italian.

The Argentinians usually have some sort of connection/heritage to Italy.

I definitely don't want to see a foreign coach.

I think Allegri will become the coach TBH.

Insigne should always play.

We'll win. We have a good line-up.

he'd never probably take the job, always complaining about the pressure in Udine, Italian media would eat him alive
but I would absolutely love to see him in charge of Azzurri, one of my favorite coaches
:agree: it would be a very Prandelli style choice, and a good continuation from him as well. One of the most underrated coaches in Italy.

Yeah definitely, most likely if you mention Guidolin's name to the average person who doesn't really follow Serie A, they'll have no idea who he is. Even though a lot of us like to rag on Udinese for underperforming in Europe, he's a very good coach who deserves more recognition.

He does deserve the recognition for sure. I think he loves where is right now with Udinese, much less pressure compared to the top jobs. Of prefer the FIGC went for an appointment like that, rather than duds like Allegri and Mancini.

Allegri to take of Italy.
Prandelli to go to Milan.

It's written in the stars.

I rather have Allegri than Zaccheroni though. That donkey should stay in Japan.

You mean I'm not the only one who gets all hot & bothered over the midget? :D
Oh not at all. I would personally carry him from Napoli to Juventus Stadium if I could. Why he is not a starter I have no idea, it pisses me off to be honest. I'm only 2 inches taller than him :D

That movement, that run, that goal. Here I go again :tuttosport::tuttosport::tuttosport::tuttosport::tuttosport::tuttosport::tuttosport:

Yeah, he's the same height as me, so I guess that's part of the connection. All I know is the kid better play on Friday so we can relieve all this pent-up sexual frustration.

So many cack players in this Italian team. Once everyone is fit and ready Balotelli, Insigne, Rossi (even though I hate that fucker), and El Shaarawy should be the strikers picked for the national team. If Prandelli needs another option to warm the bench, he can always add one of the many other turds/shits plying their trade in Italy or the PL, maybe even that useless hack tearing up the Eredivisie.
