@PedroFlu

I know you were talking earlier about how Brazil ought to play 3-5-2, but do you not think David Luiz is better suited in midfield, i think he has decent attributes but not for a defender and mentally i don't think he has the required concentration to play in defence and perhaps play someone like Dede alongside Dante and Silva?
No way. Luiz is unpredictable, crazy sometimes, too clumsy. I don't like him as a DM. Even as a CB he is a liability, overrated IMO. In a 3 men defense he could do better, as a sweeper, or maybe with Silva as a sweeper.

Dedé is overrated also and not good enough to be a starter.

The 4-2-3-1 scheme is not bad if you replace Hulk for Hernanes, Kaká or Lucas Moura. Oscar in the mid and Neymar in the left. Pato or Fred as CF. Can't get much better than that I guess.

But there's a LW who is fucking great here in Brazil, Bernard from Atletico Mineiro. He deserves a chance for more than 1year now. Very very good. In this case, we could try him as a LW and Neymar roaming upfront, as a fake CF, like Messi.

You know me i was a Fluminense fan boy a long while ago  real shame Fred will probably never play in Europe again
Oh cool. We are the best :) I'm a hardcore fan. Don't live in Rio but go there often to see them play. Fluminense is really groing as a club, although it's always been big and traditional.

We are really really really missing Maracana, our house. The mutherfuckeres has been making a lot of money on the construction of the new Maracana, a lot of corruption. It's been off for 3 years now. Bunch of fuckers. This WC in Brazil fucked us in the ass, great opportunity for these guys robbing the people more and more.

Fluminense were thoroughly entertaining to watch last season, best defence especially with Diego cavalieri in goal and best attack. I used to bet heavily on Fluminense knowing they would get the job done

yeah i know - sharing a stadium with botafogo can't be easy :D

Bernard is an improved Wellington Nem. Scores more, uses both feet, better decision making. If he played for Corinthians he'd be in the National Team ages ago.

About Fluminense, I don't think we were that entertaining. Actually here in Brazil 99% of the teams play boring football, locked in defenses. But it is a highly effective team, with some luck and Cavalieri having a crazy season (I've never seen a GK be so determinant to a team's league title) and Fred busting asses upfront.

Nem was responsible for creating spaces and plays upfront and Jean somekind of poor man Marchisio's. Their skill level is similar, stamina and pace also. Marchisio just has a higher football IQ, finding spots everywhere to score. And actually he has more freedom at Juve. But I don't see Jean far away from him. He could be bought for 7/8M I guess. Would an awesome player to fill in for Marchisio or Vidal occasionally.

Jean is already 26yrs old.

Would amazing for the team's depth... we'd just lack a real talented AM to go in once in a while.

teams start man marking him and take Italy out of their offense. Brazil did that thats why Prandelli took him out. After they didn't have a reference point in the mid to concentrate on everything opened up. Italy needs a 2nd creator in the mid with Pirlo to really open up the attack for our forwards and pressure the opposing teams.
I don't know. The first half was pretty good. Marking Pirlo gave DDR plenty of time and he made some great passes. Thought we created more in the 1st half, but Osvaldo (mostly) messed it up. The goals are deceiving.

that is where he's played for fiorentina, i like his no nonsense approach to defending much like chiellini

Fucking Balotelli :tuttosport:

He will win a world cup or euro for Italy.
