Giovinco to sub in later in the game and use his pace in the late game when the English are tired sounds more effective to me.

Cassano + Balotelli should start IMO.

I don't think it'll end 0-0, I can see a draw happening though. Balotelli and Rooney will cause problems for both backlines.
If anything Italy should "not" play Balotelli tonight, under pressure Balo screws up Big time.

Either misses lots of easy chances or even get a Red Card

Expect this scenario. England will go through and Gerrard will get a yellow so he won't be able to play vs Germany! And that's the reason why they'll lose to Germany!

Official Italy: Buffon; Abate, Barzagli, Bonucci, Balzaretti; Pirlo; De Rossi, Marchisio; Montolivo; Cassano, Balotelli.

England have never beaten a major footballing nation in knockout game in a major tournament outside of England.
This can be their year to actually win against them ( somehow their run reminds me of Chelsea's CL journey). From firing their manager, to playing ultra defensive football, to perhaps winning for the first time.

I don't rate Nocerino at all. He's a very, very limited player in my eyes. I think he's shit, and he had one lucky season at Milan.
He made his own fortune by scoring so many goals, in some big games too. I'm not a fan by any means, quite dislike him, but it's not like he wasn't responsible for scoring those goals.

But I didn't realise the discussion was Montolivo vs Nocerino as a trequartista. In that case, fuck it, no way Nocerino.

Uh. Chelsea had Drogba. None of their forwards is capable of leading the line an scoring clutch goals like Drogba
