honestly I fear England as an opponent more than Germany, but an English commentator just said this : "Germany will be too strong for them(Italy)" FUCK HIM!!!

extremely proud of the Juventini tonight, all 5 of them played an outstanding match.

a non-spastic front 3 and this match was over in the first 30 mins.

As long as Italy dont do any fuck ups at the back and the forwards take their chances,Italy can reach the Final..
Germany are very strong, but I believe in this Italy and the Juve players they have at their disposal..
3-5-2 maybe against ze germans? Maggio suspended and Abate injured? I really wish Chiellini was available..

Forza Azzurri!!

Wooooooooooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooo!

Thank you Italy; the scum are out. Finally, the ignorant cuntbags comprised of the English media and ignorant overpaid douchebag pundits can eat a huge slice of humble pie. Fuck the England national team, and the shitty over-rated Premier League. Italy totally owned this game, and had Balotelli taken his chances (Pirlo was handing him gifts out there), I wouldn't have had to endure the nerve-wracking experience of a penalty shoot out. Italy had the better chances, controlled the game, 67% possession, 4 times more shots, and generally looked the hungrier and more motivated team out there.

Germany are an entirely different proposition, but the main advantage is they don't particularly have strong wingers, and Italy tend to struggle most from crosses and set pieces, as was evident today. I give the Germans the edge, but anything can happen, and Italy beat the Germans in their own backyard in 2006 to win the World Cup. It'll be a close game, and most definitely less one sided and more of a spectacle than it'd have been had England qualified.

Couldn't believe Italy won. I had Endland down to win the title. I'm in shock. Was so drained with the way the night wore on, I thought with all the missed chances England would in on penalties. But the Italians were top drawer. Simply amazing. God I'm so tired I couldn't even celebrate with my regular cartwheels. :D

Yeahhhhhh boy!!!!! The scum have been fucked off home.

Absolutely dominated them in every facet of the game, really should have finished one of the 35(!) chances we had on goal.

Seriously, England has such woeful technique, their players are shocking technically, they can barely string two passes together. What a woeful, overrated and mediocre squad they are.

This should shut their biased, arrogant, deluded, annoying media up for a little while at least...

Forza Ragazzi!!!

Anything can happen, if Italy go out they have done well and must be applauded. They needed this, they are moving forward.
This.

No matter what happens against Germany, this will be seen as a successful tournament for Italy. They've defied expectations and actually played some very decent football along the way. Its been a great turnaround for the team compared to the trash that they served up two years ago at the WC. Prandelli definitely has them on the right path.
