but tough to learn much about Italy's capabilities of doing something in the tournament since playing Spain is so different to playing anyone else.
Yeah this is what worries me.

Croatia beat our 'best squad ever' in 02 and are even better now. It will take a freak performance to win, especially with our choking in front of goal.

Has Prandelli spoken anything about Giaccherini? I wonder if he'll be putting Balzaretti in there next game?

Does Balz even have the lungs and legs to be deployed as a wingback?

Yeah, I reckon Balza would be a better option ... but I still have a soft spot for Giacc something about his little self running around the pitch that makes me want to keep him :lol:

On a more serious note... Croatia would be the real test.

Croatia has always been hard to beat for Italy. But we must not forget our performance against Spain AND that Prandelli seems to be very aware of the fact how dangerous Croatia can become for Italy. In the past I have always had the feeling, opponents such as Croatia have not been take for full. I do not have this feeling with Prandelli.
