Indeed it is. Its the way Uefa has done things whenever NTs fans create huge ruckus, punish them with 3-0 auto result.
I know Serb fans who expected way bigger punishment then 2 games ban, so in that sense its not worst scenario by any means, considering Serbian footballs track record in similar stuff.

Point is, you have a responsibility to protect those in & around the stadium.Italian officials were grossly unprepared & when hosting an international event one should be prepared for a worst case scenario.
That being said, if they can't stop a bunch of football hooligans sneaking into the country, what could a possible terrorist achieve?
This is not the first time Italian officials & police have failed the public, how many times have club games been interrupted & hooligans doing as they please.

@Byrone, I agree with you that Italian police aren't exactly the best and most organized out there, and i'd agree that Italy should not be a prime candidate for hosting an international event, at least not yet, till they get their act together. Still, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind, that Serbia should take most of the blame, and consequently be punished for their fans actions. I think UEFA took the right course of action here.

Sure i never said Serbia didn't deserve the bulk of the punishment but if what Andrew said is true, that's pathetic punishment.
It was on their soil, not Serbian soil. The FIGC, stadium management & Italian police failed to do their job. They should have been given a serious ban & not a simple slap on the wrist.

So if, lets say, some English fans cause trouble in an away game and force the authorities to postpone the game, the other team's stadium must be banned from next games? Ridiculous.
