The Swiss are all over Bulgaria, and they seem much closer to scoring than Italy.
A 1:0 win should be enough for Italy, though.

I didn't follow so please help me out what happens if Italy wins 1:0 and Switzerland wins 3:0. Both will have equal points and equal GD (14:2). Does the Swiss away goal in the h2h come into play, or something else matters then?

What I will likely never understand is how Cristante gets regularly capped for Italy? We have Pessina and Loca on the bench but Cristante gets brought in…
Mancini went full retard starting Jorginho-Tonali together in a must win match (made even worse by Tonali picking up a dumb yellow minutes in) and than exacerbates this by bringing in a rubbish Cristante in for Tonali. Locatelli’s best role is the Jorginho one, but he’s also a far better B2B than Cristante.
