Just out of curiosity, who was the last Italian proper/prolific striker in the Azzurri?

I actually thought it was Luca Toni but figured he only had 16 goals in 47 caps which doesn't really scream prolific to me.

He doesn't see Theo as a defender, even listed him in the midfielders on the squad list. Tbh it's quite a nice balance having someone out there who loves to bomb forward but also has some general defensive awareness.

Spanish fans booed Morata all through the Euros even though he scored multiple clutch goals for them, and for some reason cheered Moreno who was far far worse lol. Most shots without scoring at the Euros.
