I watched Argentina during the Copa, and they failed to impress me. They're incredibly predictable. As for Brazil, they're nothing special, unless Neymar decides to show up. The South American nations, notably Brazil and Argentina, have been quite pathetic since World Cup 2006.
Honestly, last brazilian team that I liked was 2010. It was a team that played a good counter attack game and lost for Holland was more a tragedy (and Felipe Mello plus Julio Cesar mistakes) than really deserved. Happened too lost Elano that was playing really well in that world cup.

messi made Argentina worse, too selfish and limits other players, the goal is just to get the ball to messi.

Apparently, Amad Diallo is eligible for Italy, but will he choose his adopted nation or will he opt to play for the Ivory Coast?

An attack comprising Kean, Zaniolo, Diallo, and Scamacca is packed with talent and potential., but it is still raw.

I think Diallo has already played for Ivory Coast. Probably his brother will too.

There is also Raspadori who was already at the euros and started the season with a great goal vs Verona. Him and Scamacca played for the U21 together this year.

Atalanta has another Zaniolo type that looks extremely promising, Cortinovis.

Then there are the rest of the known prospects that have been stagnating, hopefully some actually come through. Cutrone, Esposito, Pellegri, Favilli, Salcedo, Bonazzoli, etc.

They still have a long way to go, and they may never even win it. It's a matter of mentality, belief and experience. The Muricans don't have that winning DNA in this sport, not yet anyway. Also, if the team is a reflection of Murican society, then they might as well just give up for the next 100 years :b81: Come at me Fags :p

Also, Egypt won't make the World Cup and the Federation will blame Mo Salah.
I will say this to you, it's only a matter of time. And once the US starts really challenging, it won't ever stop again.

immobile needs to be dropped for someone who can just link up w/ feed Chiesa

Just imagine how good this Italy side could be if Chiesa had better partners up front.

Calabria should start over Florenzi.

This team plays some really nice stuff at times, one of Kean/Scamacca reaching their potential is going to be crucial for this squad moving forward. I actually rate Immobile, just not in this team.

Kean and him will get some time together over the season, so maybe there :xfingers:

Don't ever let Bonucci take a freekick again.
