This could be the best thing that happened to Italian football if they finally realise thay need massive changes, like Germany introduced after WC02, but knowing Italians nothing good will come after this.

italy will fall in the fifa ranking even more. the next WC 2022 quali will be harder. but, italy was never really on germany, brasil level as a football nation. sucks, that this will harm serie a and juventus. and poor buffon

Worst Azzurri in 60 years
I like Italy, but I think they lost their spark a long time ago. I genuinely think they overachieved in 2012, because of that genius called Pirlo. The 2010, 2014, 2016 and now 2017/18 were nothing special. Its a shame but I think the Italy since the turn of the decade reminds me of the German National Teams of the last decade (2000-2010). Hopefully they turn it around soon.

Incredible Ventura lives to his expectations. He made the Swedish manager look world class. I could've watched another 90 minutes of clueless Italy crossing the ball and people like lustig hearing it away. Sweden deserved it 'we' suck hard-core. The players stuck by the coaches order but couldn't improvise in the final minutes. They are equally to blame.

If not for Gigi, I would be laughing my ass off right now.

Not even mad. This requires a total house cleaning of the federation.

Bring in Ancelotti for the Coach, Lippi to run the federation, Baggio to run the youth sector/development. Because the only way this nation has a fucking chance is if they bring in smart, no-nonsense people that know what they are doing.

I guess it shows that these players lack class when they can't stage a revolt against Ventura. They just go along with the bullshit tactics.

If you're ship is steered by a moron like Ventura then that's the result.

With a different coach we would have put 2-3 goals passed Sweden easily
