Well contested but generally shite game between two mediocre teams. Obviously Sweden can put men behind the ball all day long. Helps when the two decisive moments in the game both go your way, that's football.

Ventura insisting with the 3-5-2 or its variants will be the death of Italy for this campaign. It's a hopeful approach, hoping something falls or a fluke like their goal or a bit of magic. The team has no identity or creativity with this set up. Verratti off for Insigne, the guy might as well walk out of the stadium into the traffic. If Italy somehow qualify it'll be because the players show a bit of pride and skill on Monday despite Ventura's input, you can see it in their football and body language.

Belotti touched the ball about 3 times all game. Eder replaced him and touched the ball about 2 times. Unisci i puntini, nonno.

Better not see this shitty team with Immobile leading them in the world cup just to save themselves from further humiliation

Hope they get knocked out

With an inspiring coach a team can do anything. With a competent one they can make a fist of it. Against Spain in the Euros De Sciglio looked like Maldini and Giaccherini looked like Antognoni.

Italy doesn't need the unnecessary record of 3 consecutive group stage exits in world cup finals

They'll get a tough group in which they'll lose anyway if they make it

Thought youre english?
I am but I don't follow them... can't stand them but I blame the general hype, media and fans alike. Easier to support someone on the other side of the fence. For years we've had half a dozen or more Juve players rocking the blue shirt. It's hard not to support them. Maybe if Juve bring in delle alli, Kane and smalling. I might have to change teams. :D
