I am but I don't follow them... can't stand them but I blame the general hype, media and fans alike. Easier to support someone on the other side of the fence. For years we've had half a dozen or more Juve players rocking the blue shirt. It's hard not to support them. Maybe if Juve bring in delle alli, Kane and smalling. I might have to change teams. :D

Thats also one of the bigger reasons why i dont care much about the danish NT  Its not like i want them to lose, but i just dont really care about them.. I always support Germany, Bayern Munich is one of the biggest reasons for that

Bayern had so many great german NT players, the same goes for Juventus and Italian NT

Shoot for the stars and you'll land on the moon. This game was a great example why playing it safe when you shouldnt is the worst thing to do, Ventura and the team as a whole have only themselves to blame. For the sake of Juve I hope they turn this around

Hate to say it but maybe Italy needs to miss a World Cup to finally start developing an actual youth policy.

Joke of a nation they have become after calciopoli

This should be a lesson to all Italian coaches. The years of playing it safe should be over.

I wouldn't bet on that with any other coach other than Conte imo
Plenty of teams before did well with crap players, and the likes of Immobile aren't that. Look at some of the rubbish playing for Sweden tonight. First half they looked like Wimbledon 1988. OK second half they looked like AFC Wimbledon 2017, but they managed to win 1-0.

This Italy team has been underachieving for a string of games now.

Develop a youth policy on top of the one they already have? The young talents are already there but it's too soon. This is a generational gap being overseen by a shit coach, that's all. Italy were/are never expected to do much in Russia.

Meh, the Swedish first XI isn't that bad. It ranges from below average to above average and even has one great player (Forsberg). Sweden's like Atalanta. Inconsistent, super mid table, sometimes below that, and sometimes capable of punching above their weight when everything clicks and Papu has a good day.

Yeah, that moment where Bonucci had the audacity to hit Berg's (what a pile of $#@!, btw) forearm with his nose was pretty jeer-worthy.
Lol saw that. Remembered me how bad of an actor he is.

ventura will bring this team to its end. He decitions were terrible.

Instead of betting at the talent he has, he goes the safe route but without any plan.

Italy will crash out at this rate for sure. They will be a bag of nerves in san siro.

This italy team has no will to deliver and they seem to not trust in the coach and in themselves.

Only a miracle would save them at this point. And in case they qualify, ventura should be sacked at the spot

Their #9 plays for Al Ain, they brought on one guy who plays for Seattle Sounders and another who plays in Belgium. Their goalscorer plays for AEK Athens. It is mediocrity throughout with one or two elements of quality.

Just being blunt I'm not trying to shit on Sweden because they do well - precisely my point about a collective rather than the possession and hope approach of Italy.

I was being sarcastic, he was genuinely hit in the face even if it was not deliberately dangerous. Well, if you jump with arms these days then there is always a chance a ref will punish you, Italy were desperate later on and tried to play on that but the jeers Bonucci got were pretty laughable. You could see him still holding his nose late into the first half.
