Whats everyones big issue with Aquilani? He has had a good season for Viola for the most part, and yeah he prolly should be cut, but earned his 30 man place. I would cut Parolo and Romulo before I would cut him. Florenzi is good, but he has completely been out of the radar because he has been benched by Roma for entire of 2nd half of the season. Insigne and Aquilani dont play the same position so that doesnt even make sense.
But it doesn't have to make sense does it? Which is the point.

Portieri: Buffon (Juventus), Perin (Genoa), Sirigu (Paris Saint Germain), *Mirante (Parma);

Difensori: Abate (Milan), Barzagli (Juventus), Bonucci (Juventus), Chiellini (Juventus), Darmian (Torino), De Sciglio (Milan), Maggio (Napoli), Paletta (Parma), Pasqual (Fiorentina), Ranocchia (Inter);

Centrocampisti: Aquilani (Fiorentina), Candreva (Lazio), De Rossi (Roma), Marchisio (Juventus), Montolivo (Milan), Motta (Paris Saint Germain), Parolo (Parma), Pirlo (Juventus), Romulo (Verona), Verratti (Paris Saint Germain);

Attaccanti: Balotelli (Milan), Cassano (Parma), Cerci (Torino), Destro (Roma), Immobile (Torino), Insigne (Napoli), Rossi (Fiorentina);

No Giach!?
The bolded names are likely to be sent packing. Personally, I'd send Abate and Montolivo back. However, Prandelli does have his favorites. I'm just glad that fuckface relic Gilardino isn't in the squad, and Giacherrini doesn't deserve to be on there (despite his versatility) considering the season he and Sunderland have had.

I really hope Aquilani is sent back. He is a limited player with a pussy mentality. Romulo and Parolo are more versatile, and would probably handle the conditions better.

no issues with the merit but he's never been a gamechanger for the Azzurri and he won't last physically.

Cassano is nowhere near that decisive.
he is fat uglyfuckface motherfucker, but he is the most creative player of serie a 13/14
Key passes
Cassano 2.7 (88 total) - 5 asssits
Totti 2.6 (64) - 10
Borja Valero 2.4 (75) - 9
Cigarini 2.4 (77) - 7
Pirlo 2.3 (67) - 6
Kaka 2.3 (66) - 4
Pjanic 2.1 (73) - 6
Candreva 2.1 (74) - 6

Unfortunately for him Parma has poor finishers

Italy can't play with wingers as El92 is off. So, 3-5-2 is a really bad idea for a WC and especially against teams like Uruguay. I prefer something like 4-4-2.
Buffon; Maggio,Barzagli,Chiellini,De Sciglio; De Rossi, Pirlo, Marchisio, Montolivo, Verratti; Balo & Rossi or Cerci as SS.
4-3-3 with Insigne,Cerci as wingers..it's really risky.

wat?

Candreva - Balotteli - Cerci
Cerci - Rossi - Insigne
etc.

But Prandelli will start with 4312, it's too obviously

Candreva? Seriously? We need class wingers, Candreva is a very good player but not that Italy needs.
And Insigne is too small for that WC, he can't do so much. Perhaps if Italy had EL92, this could be different

if he will start to work his ass off to help defence he will be the key player for italy, and Maradona was too big for world cup? Size doesn't matter if you are skilled player, EL92 has proved nothing on the international level how can you be so confident in him? Lol

I'm not that optimistic for Italy. I believe that Candreva is a limited player, especially for a WC.
I think that EL92 is the future for Italy's football, with his speed and technique can make a lot! He is that we name ''winger''.

Anyway, obviously 4-4-2- (or 4-3-1-2) is the system that we can play, without bench players like Verratti.

Of course Prandelli will start with 4312, he is in love with this formation, that's why you won't see Insigne or Candreva or ES if he was called up on the field in official matches, Prandelli just have to choose primary fullbacks and the main pair of forwards

And that's a problem as we don't have class fullbacks. And not a clear Left back :facepalm2:

I bet you have said the same thing before every big international tournament - Grosso, Zaccardo who? It's not about class, it's about finding balance and team chemistry, look at Atletico - Juanfran, Miranda, Godin and Felipe Luis how great they are working with each other

agree with you, but Atletico's case is different, their players work together fot years and for 38 games every season. Hope Maggio play instead of Abate and De Sciglio do well as left back as this isn't his nature position. All the 3 fullbacks of the Azzurri was really bad this season.

One of them will be dropped, they were out of form, barely played for milan in the 2nd part of the season, i'd pick Darmian, Maggio, Pasqual and Iturbe
