He's gonna take 5 striker, so my guess is: Balotelli, Rossi, Immobile, Cerci, Insigne

I think that Cassano and Destro will be left out. Cassano had a much better season than Insigne but Insigne finished strongly and can play on the wings so I think that Prandelli will take him.

That's a pretty good strike force.

I don't think he would have included Cassano on this list only to cut him. Casssano can't play the whole game but if you insert him at around the 60th minute he changes the game with his flaire. I think he will cut one of Destro or Immobile.

Prandelli have a tough job dropping people in the midfield and attack. I think in defence and GK is pretty straight forward.

Theres alot of flair in this team. The midfield is very fine, but we lack some defensive strength compared to the previous WC defence.
How good is Darmian anyone follows him?

7 of these players will be left out. There is 1 too many CBs and 1 more fullback than needed, so I'm guessing that 2 of the 10 defenders won't make it. Two of the 7 attackers won't make it either, maybe even 3, but I doubt. The remaining 3 who'll miss out are midfielders.

Darmian and Pasqual are out (only in if Maggio/Abate have health issues, and if Romulo is seen as enough for RWB) amongst the defenders.

The two attackers out will be Insigne and Destro I'm guessing (if not Insigne, Cerci, but very much doubt it, Insigne less needed with Cassano there).

The midfielders Verratti deffo wont make it (which is a big shame IMO, great mofo...), Parolo and Romulo maybe, but he has top season prolly, if not him Aquilani.


That there are ppl calling for Giaccherini is LOLSY Biggiest crime Prandelli could have committed would been to call up useless ones like Gila and Giacch, thankfully he avoided that.

would starting Veratti and Pirlo together leave us too volnurable defensively in the midfield? Those two together could really create huge problems for other teams with their passing abilities to front players like Rossi, Balotelli, even Cassano

Cant really think who Prandelli will drop apart for some obvious choices would be Darmian and Parolo. Pasqual is possibility as we are lacking an attacking FB. We got Maggio or Romulo to do that on the right and De Sciglio is an option to cover both flanks of the Fullback.
