I like the 4/3/3 I would put Balotelli where you have Cerci and Rossi at CF. Could be a devastating counter attack. Also where do we put DeRossi? Thiago Motta has been great at PSG so but great enough to replace Daniele? With that said I doubt Prandelli is bold enough to go with a 4/3/3

Maybe De Rossi would slide into defence or replace Marchisio

Nope... Chiellini can handle there with Marchisio and Motta... Rossi would just drop behind the ball when we dont have it. when we do stay wide and cut in. Also if i dont prove effective put Insigne that is role at Napoli.

We sold him, rightfully so. There's no way a player like him deserves to be in Italian NT.

Giaccherini has had a pretty poor season for an awful Sunderland. There's no way he should be in the Italy squad.

The squad looks a bit better than I envisioned. At least there is some versatility there. Italy can try to play a 3-5-2 possession or they can field a pretty good 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 counter attack side.

The problem is that, for me, you have to play both Rossi and Balotelli, the two best forwards in the team by quite a margin. Don't know if either can play the wing or as a #10.

7 of these players will be left out. There is 1 too many CBs and 1 more fullback than needed, so I'm guessing that 2 of the 10 defenders won't make it. Two of the 7 attackers won't make it either, maybe even 3, but I doubt. The remaining 3 who'll miss out are midfielders.
