I very much doubt that Italy can win the Euro but I think that they make a good run and perhaps progress even to the semi finals.

This Italian team is not great on paper but I like Prandelli's collective approach.

One very important player will be Mario Balotelli.

Prandelli is doing a great job with a very limited squad. If he gets them to the quarters it would be a big achievement.

The Spanish are the favourites as always, closely followed by the Germans who look very impressive. Holland comes third for me, while France with their new look team could cause trouble too.

I agree with this assessment.

Whenever Italy was an outsider they menaged to suprise everyone, and when they were favourites most notably in 2002., they flopped. Let's hope everybody treates them as outsiders.

'Very limited' is too harsh. There is plenty of talent in this squad, just lacking 2-3 world class players in the DC and MC department. Italy are stacked with very good keepers and attackers and for me Buffon, Chiellini, Pirlo, De Rossi and Balotelli are big names and proven class.

Buffon
Maggio
-------
Chiellini
Balzaretti
Pirlo
De Rossi
--------
--------
Balotelli
Rossi

You can fill in these blanks with good-very good players, and it's all about the team unit.

After big flop at WC last year and with current roster(weakest one in last 20 years or more for sure) they will certainly be treated as underdogs on Euro, but they will go on to win the Euro with 6-7 juventini in first team :)

I would like that very much, especially because of our juventini who will play crucial part in this project. So after 1968 Euro here we come.

Germany, Holland, Spain and Portugal are the teams for the title next EURO's. Italy and France arent anywhere near the level of those teams and still rebuilding.

But it is the EURO's, nobody knows who'll win that tournament.
LOL, Portugal favourites for Euro's. Thats a good one.

Fair enough saying Italy aren't among the main favourites to win the Euros, but saying Portugal have a better chance? LOL.

I'm liking all this under-estimating of Italy from fans and the media. They usually play better when written off.

Talent wise France is good enough to win it. On the paper, they probably have the best squad after Spainimo.

Talk about France potential of winning if they qualify. First, they have to past two games in play-offs :)
