    Both arent comparable at all.

Dybala is a kid whereas Witsel is in like his prime yrs.
We wont sign a 26 yr old midfielder for a substantial fee just to put him on the bench.

We're not at that stage where we can afford to do that,yet..

that wasnt my point though. with 3 competitions, over 50 games, injuries and 4 spots in midfield, all our CMs can get enough games. we dont really have "bench players", most of our players play more than enough games through out the season...

as for Witsel, i still prefer Allan so i hope we get him instead

If we got Witsel, you'd have to expect that Pogba would be going over Vidal. Pogba and Witsel have similar styles of play - Witsel is what you would call a 3rd world Paul Pogba.

I hope we don't get him - he'd just be unnecessary. If we HAD to sell Pogba, there are better alternatives than Witsel.

Witsel is average player from what i've heard about him i didnt watch his play but if we want to buy MD i would we get Veratti His level is near pogba's. we have a lot players who are similar to each other and their style is the same like marchisio pirlo and we have khedira for next season , I'd rather spend big money on a creative midfielder like veratti who has speed and creative characteristics. he is the only one close to anyone in our midfield we need to a creative midfielder for pirlo post.

If we really are selling Pogba,we should look to replace him with Kondogbia.
Imo best direct replacement for him and he's available for €35m according to Di Marzio

Really hope we arent considering Witsel to replace him.Either that or lets hope he's only under consideration for the AM position.

After CL final,i think things will be clearer then.

Totally agree. Any potential he did have was stunted when he decided to go to Russia for the extra cash.

That's why I said "Third World Pogba" and not the conventional expression "Poor Man's Pogba". His only similarity is playing style, although he is much less effective in almost all other aspects. The one area he may have Pogba beat is in distribution of the ball. He could cover probably cover for Pirlo more effectively than Pogba (but obv. not than Marchisio).

Is Witsel actually a good player?

I've somehow gone my whole life not watching him play, outside of a few matches for Belgium.

    What is his style?

He was crushing it in Benfica, havent followed him in Russia because, frankly, Id rather watch a friends marathon than Russian football so i cant say, but the word is that his level fell a bit when he switched.
