And we really shouldn't. We have no particular need for a CM, while our starting fullbacks are the wrong side of 30. Even if Lichtsteiner looks like he's got a few years left in him and Evra has looked very fit, the truth of the matter is that we are going to get more out of them if we can rest them every once in a while. I also think we should invest in some creativity upfront, but I guess so does every team every season.
Witsel's passing and moving is a bit too slow for the kind of play I'd like to see from Juventus. But I can see why you would like him in that position.
Not for that pricetag.. And he's not the kind of player who's okay with sitting on the bench either.

What I don't understand is why we're not focussing on Nainggolan instead of Witsel. He's more dynamic, better suited to our team and knows Serie A. Roma will struggle to keep him anyway.

Our midfield is jam-packed with talent. I don't see the point in signing either of these players. Neither would be good choice for CAM, and neither would improve our midfield 3 of Vidal-Marchisio-Pogba. We have plenty of subs for the position as well in Pereyra, Sturaro, and even Asamoah.
