Right. A strain of deadly influenza that has no cure and can infect thousands within a day under the right circumstances. No problem at all, really.
We already had this flu in Holland in August; nothing happened. As it stands; the virus can still not be passed from human to human. The only likely way to get it, is to be around infected birds for hours at a time or eat insane amounts of chicken flesh carrying the virus.

Flowery language? Understatement. Glad you're not in politics, mate. You'd freak out entire nations, cause mass-panics and derail the world on a weekly basis...

Sorry for the flowery language, Erik, as we know you are the only true queen of drama.

eventually, it will mutate, just like most other viruses (all flu viruses originate in birds)

Erik, it couldnt have been in Holland yet, it just made its way into Turkey and Romania from Asia

When it spreads via human to human, I just hope that someone has come up with a vaccine for it...things could get pretty nasty.

Oh, so you actually had a case of the flu in Holland, Erik? Wow, that's amazing. Stunning stuff.

When you recieve an actual human case of avian flu call back...perhaps then you will know what you're talking about.

As it stands; the virus can still not be passed from human to human. The only likely way to get it, is to be around infected birds for hours at a time or eat insane amounts of chicken flesh carrying the virus.
I see you're quite the expert, aren't you Erik? So you're trying to tell us the several hundreds of top molecular biologists who believe the avian flu could mutate and become infectious between human beings are all wrong? Are you saying there is no chance the bird flu will mutate and make typical influenza look like an insignifcant sneeze? Well gosh dangit Erik, they should give you a job at the CDC and push these unkowledgable scientists out the back door...what do they know anyway.

Flowery language? Understatement. Glad you're not in politics, mate. You'd freak out entire nations, cause mass-panics and derail the world on a weekly basis...
Right...and thank goodness you're not the chief field operative for USAMIRIID. You would probably advise your suboardinates to walk into a hotzone unprotected and start playing dress up in contaminated clothes...I could see that would be a big hit.

Never underestimate an opponent, Erik. Shit like that will get you killed.

Yes, because killing Iraqis helps me feel more safe and sound here in the States.

Once again, you show yourself to be more ignorant than knowledgable and clearly cannot suffocate your urge to tell us what you think about Americans. You sad sad boy.

And for your information, I am against the war on Iraq, so your little joke of ignorance just went down the drain like a soggy waffle.
