what have vectors got to do with anything? Besides, whether they're proven to exist or not, they work in a practical application on the software level, so why should i care whether they exist or not?
As for the manual thing, that's like saying that walking is better than driving because you don't have to get lessons on how to walk. Sure, it's much easier to avoid all those hectic driving lessons, but the results are there for all to see when you're 4 hours late every time you have to go anywhere. Anyway, you don't really need to take a course at all. I learned 99% of what I know from mucking around with the sofware by myself.
