Photoshop is the best.

I'm glad I've installed all this software (new dreamweaver, Acrobat Professional, etc.) back in Azerbaijan, and it cost me about $6 for everything ;)

and what if i don't have a desktop icon of photoshop? :D

i meant how do you frame pics in photoshop, smartass.
I find the easiest way to do it is to take your completed avatar, then select all using Ctrl+A, then go to Edit -> Stroke

and choose whichever colour you want (usually black), 1 pixel width, and choose "Center" for the stroke location.

;)

Sorry mate, resizing .gif avatars is difficult work, and not something that can be done in a few seconds

I'll try my best to get around to it as soon as I'm free from all my uni work ;)

hey guys,, can anyone make me an avatar of DP's face (and framed plz) from this picture? :)
You know what guys, I just had a brilliant idea that I should've thought of ages ago. I made an Action macro in Photoshop that automatically crops, resizes and frames avatars at the click of a button :D
