Had my old car valeted and serviced today, spent a few hours polishing it and covering all the scratches I'd accumulated over the past few years.

Will be sad enough selling it as it was officially my first car

VW Golfs hold their value quite well so with the amount I should get for it, I've essentially paid just €1,500 for a car for three years, not bad
