Surely you could get a more exciting colour? Blue with a black stripe would be nice I reckon.

That right there costs about $40000.00. That Model.

I liked the color I picked, and I'm sticking with it

And besides, the color I picked is merely a darker blue

I was just showing the colour. That grey is not blue at all. You aren't colour blind are you? (no offense/sarcasm intended)

Still think you should get a used 911 anyway :p

You want to know something ridiculous? I just had a look comparing prices of the latest 911 Carrera manual (cheapest 911s) on Porsche US website and Porsche australian website. On the USA website it's around $80,000, here: $250,000. You can buy 3 911s in the US for a cheaper price than you can buy 1 here.

That Exterior that I picked is Blackberry Pearl. It is not gray by any stretch of the imagination. The link that I forwarded, does it state a price of $32300.00?

You know. maybe I am colorblind. It sure does look like a very Dark Blue to me

I think that is insane.

I'm not a huge fan of Porsche to begin with. Besides, that is way out of my price range. Who do you think I am, you?

what and what.

I suggested a used because you're buying a $30k car and I can't afford a new Porsche I'm 17  I currently have about $70 spending money although I am jobless. I have a bank account with like $2-3k in it but I'm not allowed to touch it anyway.

Looking to trade in the motorbike and buy a car this summer. On looks alone, which one would you go for?

Honda Civic

Fiat Stilo

VW Golf

Looks and upkeep, I'd go with Civic. The golf is a lot more comfy and feels a lot better.

If you get a civic Si, it'll feel very close to a motorbike :D

The civic, although very good, looking is considered a bit of a 'chav' car here which is unfortunate. Golfs are everywhere, but that's obviously down to the fact that they're a great car. The Fiat isn't too common which would make it stand out a little more I think, plus I'd be supporting the family business :D

:agree: with this, but i would have the golf as first option followed by civic. but the reasoning alc mentions are spot on.

I know what you mean about the Civic but as long as you don't rice it out, it should look fine.

Is the Golf you're looking into TDI? Those are awesome.

I agree the Fiat will stand out but Italian cars aren't known for being very reliable tbh. Just a thought.

Yeah I'm inclined to agree, even the 2001-2003 model Golfs are still nice to look at.

I think that is just a stereotype about the Fiats, one that may have been true awhile back but they've definitely improved their standards.

No it's just a 1.4 litre, the TDis are ridiculously expensive to insure here.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Not many of those over here :D

Anyways, I don't wanna take away from your question but which Subaru would you guys pick? BRZ or WRX? Price wise they're about the same.

Both great cars, but I'd take the BRZ, more of a head turner imo :)
