Why is that? In terms of horse power? Technology? Or looks?
Looks, I mean. It's good technology yes. But it doesn't look that great. And I can't really explain why, the bodywork is nice but somehow not quite good enough. There's no particular thing wrong with it, it's just not as great to look at as you'd think it'd be. The lines are nice but not beautiful.

In other words, it looks like a lot of cars. Quite nice, but nothing extraordinary.

Actually the first time I saw an Aston, I thought it was bad looking. But now I find it very very good looking. It kinda grows on you...

I've seen them a bunch of times. On the south coast of France there are so many showoffs with their cars, we saw all kinds, including Astons. And I still think the German companies have a better sense for styling. Audi, Porsche. And the Italians too. Lamborghini especially, also some Alfa Romeo lines. Ferrari is a bit dull frankly.

Most of them are not trying to be as audacious as Aston but they succeed better in what they do imo. In fact, I wonder if they'd have the same standing without the James Bond legend backing them.

Porsches are good looking cars, but they all look alike and look like they have come out of the 80's :D (Porsche Carrera GT is damn sexy, haven't seen it in flesh though) Audis are bland... I do love how the BMW sedans look... Lamborghinis and Alfas are very pretty... I agree with your view on the Ferraris...
The Lamborghini Miura is probably my favorite car when it comes to looks...

Damn right, Porsche came up with one nice design decades ago and haven't done anything since :D

BMW has gone downhill lately. Either that or I finally got bored of their headlights.

Which car do you like? You have some weird taste, Martin.
I don't want to say that all SUVs are fugly, but 99% are. And it's not because they have to be. They just put the body of a sedan and stretched it out "there you go, there's your car". Instead of designing something nice looking from the group up.

Exactly, that's what almost all SUVs look like.

I don't like many SUVs but X6 looks like a superior car by a mile, don't know why...it just looks too powerful. When one passed next to me here in Belgrade I was like :shifty:
