Lol @JuveJay, you were right that this Lapadula dude is a weird mix, watching clips of him and he really is an oddball kind of attacker. Like a little ferret that never stops. Also celebrates goals as crazy as Pippo, he runs harder after he scored then before lol.

Hope he is better than his dad...

That Barborosa kid is destined for a top rich club and will cost alot of moolah for sure.

He is the only brazuca worth asking here about national talent.
FM or did you really see him play?

As for Lapadula I guess we plan on selling Zaza and use him as his replacement in our team...
I actually like Zaza - Reminds me of some sort of Trezeguet (although Trez is a much better finisher) - Zaza also fights for every ball and is very strong but he isnt getting any minutes here so it would be the wise thing to do

Seen him play twice (when hype started early on), genuine top talent, it wasnt worth seeing more because the Brazilian league bored me. His skillset pretty much checks all the boxes you need to become something in top level in Europe:

@PedroFlu should know more, do you reckon he is ready for top league or team? Kind of 2015 he has had should suggest Europe in summer. But likely he hasnt moved yet because only top teams will afford him/where he want to go, instead of being the kind of brazilian that has a pitstop in EE or Portugal.

As Lapadula lol hold your horses fellas until he does anything in Serie A :D As Jay said, this is fairly safe and good bussiness, get them cheap before they perform in top division so we can either use them in the future or use them as trade currency.

I thought that Lapadula was going to be used as a bargaining chip for Saponara in the summer?

Picture me walking me down the street just randomly saying that sentence to strangers

Looks like Lapadula will stay till June. They will then see what offers there are for him.

We are trying for Caprari still.

I wonder if Caprari could be a vice-dybala that this club will eventually need
He looks interesting, reminds me a little of Di Natale. But he has been in Serie B / Pescara for near 4 years (except brief stints with Roma), if he had that kind of potential I doubt he would need to be in B for that long. Roma sold him outright to Pescara for 125k in past summer. Unless he awakened quite a bit as a player, we should temper our estimations of players like him.

Caprari was supposed to be Roma's next hope once upon a time.

That's just figure fudging, he's worth a couple million for sure.

He is, and yeah its the co-ownership deals and trade coming to end, bit still has or had low value:

In January 2012, Caprari was sent on loan to Serie B club Pescara[4] in order to allow him to play more first-team football. He scored three goals in 15 matches in 2011-12 season. The club also won promotion to Serie A.

In June 2012 Pescara purchased Caprari in co-ownership deal for €1.2 million.[5][6] On 20 June 2013 Roma bought him back for €2 million.,[7][8] but in pure player swap. (Giammario Piscitella and Matteo Politano to Pescara for €2M[9][10])

Caprari played hist first match of his second Roma career on 10 November 2013, against Sassuolo coming on as a substitute. On 24 January 2014 Caprari returned to Pescara by swapped club with Piscitella. (both tagged for €1.5 million)[11][12]

On 27 June 2015 Roma bought back Politano for €601,000, with Caprari moved to Pescara outright for €125,000.

So we bought mandragora for 6m and loaned him back to pescara, where he has played 56 minutes in the last 4 matches.. And a couple other players came back from loan and went on loan again...

And today is the transfer deadline day..

Could be worse I guess :shifty:
