We can wait for Pereyra to recover. We haven't even given Lemina a proper chance plus both Khedira and Sturaro need games.

If we sell Caceres, I don't see us taking a RB either. Cuadrado is great offensively as a RWB and we play 352 more often than not.

Overall we should definitely focus on an offensive AM that can play a left winger, but even there I don't see the quality we want to move in January.

My prediction: Uninteresting mercato with the only upside of some good $ales. Maybe we can get another offensive player, but at best it would be Berardi.

Caceres at RCB would be perfect for our 3-5-2 with Cuadrado at RWB. It'd allow Cuadrado to push forward and Caceres to slide behind him (all homo) for a seamless transition in attack from 3-5-2 to 4-3-3 like we've been seeing.

Plus, Caceres is hot (all homo).

Need two players.

Sell/loan out Zaza and sign Lavezzi. Need a backup SS. One is esp important in a 352 where you have no AM or wingers. Signing Lavezzi would also prevent Inter from signing him. He's exactly what they need. He'd also give us an option to play a back-4 formation. Need to stop pretending Morata can play as WF/SS.

And sign a decent midfielder who can play as both CM and AM, not one or the other.

Marco Verratti won’t be returning to Italy any time soon, as his agent reveals they’re working on a renewal with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Italian international was a target for both Napoli and Juventus during his time at Pescara, but the French club secured his signature.

“We’re repeated it a thousand times, Napoli and Pescara were in total agreement for Verratti,” Donato Di Campli told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“They were missing the economic agreement with us though, and he wasn’t convinced by the technical project.

You know who we should have got on loan with option to buy... Matías Kranevitter. Atletico bought him from River Plate in the summer. Was incredible for River the last couple years. Major part of their winning Copa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores. Excellent CDM, very good, clean tackling skills, good at controlling pace and flow of the game, shielding the defence... He's a very smart player too, and is always looking to move the ball forward with good, accurate passing.

It's really too bad Atletico bought him, as he'd be an excellent option behind Marchisio, to ease into a starting role here. Can also play as a Box 2 Box if needed. 8 mil for him was a steal.
