January: Vrsaljko, Saponara (loan + option to buy), Cuadrado
Summer: Berardi,Çalhanoğlu,Gonalons,Witsel/Tielmans
Might be possible if we both magically progress in the CL and qualify to play CL next season. If we don't make the top 3 we are in trouble in the market.

with the rise of muller, costa and even coman i see robben and ribery getting out. ARJEN ROBBEN could be short term solution to our problems just like tevez.
Robben would be a Cuadrado who can go to the middle or wide instead of just wide and shoot much better than Cuadrado - A big yes from me

We should have broken the bank to get Cavani this past summer, when he was speaking about leaving. Combine Zaza 18 mil, Mandzukic 20 mil, and Hernanes 11 mil and we could have offered 50mil or so for him.

Not really sure it would make much of a difference. Our biggest problem is the lack of a playmaker who could dictate the play. Cavani is a rich mans Mandzu but I dont think it would make much of a difference.
The 50 mio. saved from the mentioned player should have been directed towards a playmaker.

We are not lacking in the Strikers department. Morata and Mandzukic are more than good enough for that position. We are lacking in the SS department given that we only have dybala playing that position. I'd have pooled the Sandro, Hernanes, Lemina and Zaza money towards a CAM or added to the dybala money and went for a more finished product

A rich man's Mandzu?

Cavani has scored more goals than any player not named Ronaldo, Messi, Zlatan in Europe over the past 5 years. 5 straight seasons of 25+ goals which reduces the names to Messi and Ronaldo, and he already has 9 this year. Cavani creates goals for himself frequently, something Mandzukic doesn't do.

He would make a huge difference.

Oh, I agree with this, even though I'd love Cavani here. He'd destroy this league. Having him and Morata as our 2 CFs would be amazing.

I certainly do wish we hadn't bought Zaza, Hernanes, Lemina... That's 40 mil or so right there, and we could easily have picked up a very good CAM for 40-50 mil.
