"Astral projection (or astral travel) is an interpretation of any form of out-of-body experience (OBE) that assumes the existence of an "astral body" separate from the physical body and capable of traveling outside it. Astral projection or travel denotes the astral body leaving the physical body to travel in the astral plane.

The idea of astral travel is rooted in common worldwide religious accounts of the afterlife in which the consciousness' or soul's journey or "ascent" is described in such terms as "an...out-of body experience, wherein the spiritual traveller leaves the physical body and travels in his/her subtle body (or dreambody or astral body) into 'higher’ realms."

Found out about it 2 months ago and have been trying various methods to do it. Was about to enter Sleep Paralysis 3 days ago but aborted it due to fear.

Now, I didn't buy into it the first time but after I found out that people have actually met one another, while in the astral plane, while both trying it, I was shocked. Then it hit me, the power of our consciousness is everything. This thing destroys the very foundation that religion was formed up upon. One might even say Jesus and Mohammed were astral planers but no-one at that time knew what it was. Apparently it feels more physical and realer than our/this world. About 25% of the world's population know about it and it has been an occult from the 1970's with very interesting and unique books popping up on it's subject/agenda.

I don't know if this is related but I'm familiar with something known as lucid dreaming. I was very interested in this topic at one point. What triggered my curiosity was this philosophical movie called 'Waking Life'. It revolves around the concept of being able to consciously control your dreams and have out of body experiences.

Maybe what you're talking about is different though.

    Try acid, mushrooms then ahyauasca.
All Garbage. DMT is the only drug that triggers Astral Projecting because of the melatonin levels. Don't know about Ahyauasca.

No, you can project through lucid dreaming, they are related. Everyone projects in their sleep but they don't know it because there conscious/mind is asleep. Lots of projectors project from lucid dreaming, but you need to be aware that you're actually dreaming so you can start the process. Start the process as in, visiting actual places or...if it's your first time, most people start it off by imagining there in their bedroom, only to be terrified to find out that their actual body, is there, physically sleeping.

Ahyauasca is a form DMT and it comes in different forms. Why I said acid and mushrooms? Because you need to be trained to psychedelic before taking a jump into DMT substances.

Ahh I see. Yeah, I can see where that point is coming from. I love Acid, such an europhic feeling, had fun with it excluding those three times which I went through a bad trip because of people and places. I hear Shrooms are pretty much the same

Shrooms are not as recreational, you have more tendency to end in a bad trip with shrooms but when working you reach parts of your mind that you would be surprised but at the same delighted that you went there. Then the effect is shorter and the visuals are less intense if the dose is normal. Similar but not the same.

am reading a Paolo Coelho book called Veronika Wants To Die, it touched on this as well.
Yes, it's quite interesting. Everyone and anyone can try it in various methods, but the fear is the only stumbling block. For example, if you're expecting demons and such, then demons is what you're going to get when in fact, it's all in your mind, because of how physical it can get compared to our physical world.

    I mean it.

Have you ever read any Richard Bach?

The Bridge Across Forever, autobiographical, has a lot of Astral projection in it.

By the way his wife was in Star Trek, and she was gorgeous.
Ah, no I haven't. I've read some Frank Kepple and William Buhlman on regards to the subject.
