They say he is ok. I didn't see it for myself but others say that he was
celeberating with the other players as the game ended.
Also one official from the Iranian national team confirmed he was sitting
on the bench during the 2nd half!

as a follower of the iranina nt..i have to admit that i find them quickly punished and clear bias showed by the afc...corrupt is an understatement.

Karimi is a great player and he should have joined A. Madrid or Perugia in his early 20's while they were interested.

unfortunately he has chosen the easy way by playing in UAE, getting
great deal of money, perhaps even more than he would get in Europe.

perugia were really interested.

There is no suprise he took the money, he had a VERY poor background, and in now way is he garunteed the money he is on now , if he came to europe, i can see him making a move to europe if iran ever have a good tourniment

No Final for Iran after PK action! :sob:
Just minutes after the 2nd half was kicked off we got a player sent off....
God damnit... It shouldn't have been a RED card, just a Yellow but the
Iranian player just rolled the red carpet infront of the Chinese player
and he took full advantage of the opportunity....

There was some irritation after a Chinese attack.
When the attack was over this Chinese players was going forward to the
Iranian player and he raised his hand and pushed the Chinese player in the chest and he in return acted like he was punched by the iranian in the face....

:fero::fero::fero:

Later during the game Karimi was tackled in brutal fashion which could had
resulted him being free one-on-one with the Chinese GK, but the ref.
gave only a Yellow for this incident!!!

89th min. Badavi gets a golden oppurtunity to score and make it 2-1 for Iran! But it wasn't our day today!!!

there is a game for the 3rd spot... Right now it's something that isn't even worth looking forward too!

China vs Japan final.

Iran played for pens at the end wrong move. I was hoping Iran would win but what a stupid final penalty. He tried to chip the keeper on the 5th pen kick.

there are news coming from Hamburg (HSV) that says they have scouts keeping an eye on Karimi...

I doub't he will leave UAE, besides getting millions playing football he is
into the real estate buisness in Iran...

Partnership of Kia and Karimi... would had been interesting...

Damn, a Korea vs Japan final would have been intense  whenever the two countries compete, whether it's football or flyfishing, it's always a matter of life or death
