Alcoholic who misses pens against Real and gets sent off is not GOAT material to me.

Come on its Hannover. Asamoah would score against them.
Actually that performance vs Madrid is exactly what makes him GOAT. He makes and breaks the team. Scores a goal, miss pk, red card. Allahu Akbar!!

And Casemiro should've gotten sent off.
Madrid were extremely lucky.

Vidal is quality no matter what. Anyone would like to have such an engine in midfield. Everyone who wants to make it like he was crap and a drunkard has a short memory of him fighting for every ball all over the pitch, making a lot of important tackles and scoring a lot of goals. In the big games he ALWAYS turned up without fail.

He almost got himself sent off in the final.
Unlike our current crop of midfielders who get walked all over by opposition midfielders in tough matches.

Just look at the way he hustles and hassles everyone who touches the ball, making them think twice about holding it for too long, always looking over their shoulder for Vidal's surprise appearance. Compare that to a nonchalant Khedira who jogs around or a relaxed midfielder like Pjanic, rarely involved in attempting tackles.

he was acting a moron vs Bayern in 2013 too, even after he got his yellow. and this year ofcourse vs Real. needs to calm down with those harsh tackles

His attitude is brilliant, lifts the whole team, even if sometimes he goes in for some massive fouls, a lot of the time he pulls out some fantastic tackles.
And let's not forget his goals.

For like 4 matches they did well, 2 against Barca, and 2 against Monaco. Generally not the case though.

By that logic weird how a team with shitty midfield is somehow making CL final and dominating league.

- - - Updated - - -

Vidal has since left Juve failed to somehow qualify for WC with Chile and failed to reach CL final with Bayern when he supposedly left to Bayern to win "important" trophies.

I'd take Vidal over ANY of our current crop of midfielders any day of the week. He's just a better player who has a bigger impact on any team he plays for.

No one said Vidal is an all time legend, but he's damn more useful than any midfielder we have.
