Buffon is a fantastic goalkeeper but the best in history? I dont know. I rate him in top 3 though, thats for sure. Casillas on the other hand.. I allways found him a little overrated, but i know Real Madrid fans would disagree big time on that. Its hard to say about Neuer, but i think he have the opportunity and the skills to become the best ever - if he keeps perfoming on the level he does offcourse. If he starts decline in 2-3 years, then its another story. He allready been voted the best goalkeeper 3 times though, and hes only 29 nearly 30 years old. Which means he has a lot of good years back in him.

Btw it was Beckenbauer who said those things about Buffon and not Rummenigge. Beckenbauer was an amazing player, and won everything he could with Bayern and Germany both individually and as coach, but i agree that he often said some stupid things. The thing he said about Buffon was rubbish, thats for sure.

Btw when did i talk about a walk in the park? If you read my post, then you will see that i say it will be vert tough matches for Bayern. Where do you see the disrespect? Chill a little..
I see you chose not to take my advice. It was unwise of you to do that.

Well, since im on a Juve forum then lets agree about that Buffon is the best ever. I can go along with that.

No matter which of the two clubs that are going through, then i hope they will encounter a shitty english club, and beat the shit out of them. Especially so, that those Premier League fans soon wake up to the reality.

Btw this is some great documentaries about both Juve and Bayern:

Ahh, 2000/2001

3 EPL teams
3 spanish teams
the $#@!ing stabbers
and bayern, to save the day

and they. Killed gaychester, killed madrid, removed valencia
Now that you mention it, it was a fantastic final. :touched: Also nice to win it after the terrible final against United in 1999. Where Bayern lost the final with 2 goals in the overtime..

I usually understand why people on this forum hate some of our past players but this one really is kind of baffling.
I don't get hating Vidal... I do get being indifferent towards him at this point.

I just don't care about him. Not a club legend, but he was a very good player for his time here, and I'm grateful for that... Now, I could care less about him and what he does in the future. I certainly don't wish him success though.

That 99 final, is where I grew lots of sympathy for Bayern. That was the rise of EPL, thanks a lot by the way!
Yeah, it was some shit. All though the final against Chelsea was worse in my opinion. It was in Germany, in Bayern and at the Allianz Arena. And then to lose to shiity fucking Chelsea... I still havent forgiven Bayern for that, and probably never will. Wish i could forget that shit. :sergio: :frown:

No disrespect, but that was the most beautiful game ever not involving Juve. Was exciting as hell watching it with my Bayern fans friends

Gigi the GOD of goalkeeping and everything that has to do with hands. From basketball to brain surgery. Gigi Buffon's hands are a gift from the heavens.
Neuru if lucky might be top 5. Right now he's is Dida lvl.
