Arsenal offers a significantly higher fee then the competition, wich results in the seller pushing the player towards the highest bidder.
Of course, but it is the right of the player to reject a move if they want to.

Yeah, i know you won the FA cup last year, but you need to understand here at juventus, we are accustomed to a higher standard of winning silverware, and defining what is important.
Thing is, we do have a higher standard, we are one of the biggest clubs in the premier league. We have won 13 league titles, third best in the league. We all want to win the league, in fact the fans want to win every trophy, thats why we field our strongest side for the cups. We are just going through a bad period where we havent won it for a while, since 2005 in fact, and there is some healthy competition in the league.

And as for fielding reserves, a lot of big teams havent fielded many reserves at all.

Stop mentioning me, mofos.

I didn't do anything this time. I wrote that post last year. Piotrr changed it a bit and he (or someone else from here) is posting in Arsenal's forum under Marcelo's name.

Thats all nice, but Sanchez is turning 27 in december. He does not have another 5 years to wait around for a decent trophee. Meanwhile his great friend vidal is showered in silverware.

Unless the situation changes dramatically, Sanchez will come to juventus next summer. If we win the CL, i can see him comming here this summer allready

The last time Alexis was here in Coquimbo together with Carlos Carmona, they were talking about this incident the two had in Cremona back in 2011, when Alexis was in Udinese and Carlitos in Atalanta. It was about some party where Alexis fell in the pool, dressed in a tuxedo. My cousin's wife was joking that they chose wrong Italian clubs and they should play for Inter, and Alexis joked that Udinese are better than Inter. Alexis told us that he was close to Juve, but there was no space in the team while Tevez is here. I asked him to come to Juve once Tevez leaves. He said that he'll surely come back to Italy one day, most probably Juve if things remain as they are, and then laughed with Carmona that he will take him with him to Juve as a ball boy.

Sanchez did seem very happy to play for Arsenal, though, so even if he comes to Juve, I don't think it will happen this summer.

Some of you forgot who we signed in recent seasons I guess. Doesnt matter if we dont sign Vidal, but we will have big players interesting in moving here always.

Ridiculous statement. Every club has gone through bad periods, but it doesn't mean we then go and be fans of other clubs, no way.
Okay, sorry about my post. :D Because you seem to be a decent lad coming here to discuss stuff. TBH it was aimed at the arrogant Arsenal fans thinking they're a bigger club than Juve (who seem to be the majority).
About your interest in Vidal:
Okay I'll give you that you guys can offer bigger money, better location (in your own opinion), but that applies when we're after the same player on the market and you can think of those as your leverage, and even then it's up to the player to decide.
But when we're talking about a "Juventus player" who hasn't shown any interest in leaving, is on pretty high wages and is settled in perfectly, I can assure you Arsenal is not in a position to lure him out of Turin. The only clubs in the world who can pull that kind of stunt are Real, Barca and even they should offer a ridiculously high transfer (or maybe the filthy riches can step in with a retarded bid), but even then Juventus puts it up to the player to decide, meaning we're not a selling club and don't really need the money (specially not right now, with the kind of revenues we've made this year). so as you can see none of these cases is true regarding Arsenal, therefore your chances of signing him are slim to none. But of course you can fancy your chances...

Nice post and valid points. Im saying its possible in the sense that anything is possible, but when I first posted I said I wasnt convinced by the transfer of Vidal here because of the huge transfer fee. Its a dream to be able to have him at Arsenal.

He won't leave for Arsenal no chance of that. If he is on the market expect Madrid and Bayern to be interested in him and he will definitely pick them over Arsenal.

Could never see him leaving Juve for Arsenal as it's too much of a step down from Juve.

Just trying to buck the trend I guess :D

If some fans of another club want to be disrespectful towards our club, maybe we can just rise above it and not lower ourselves to that level you know?

Guess I'm just not a fan of the whole 'forum trolling' thing anymore. I don't wanna see a ton of fake accounts set up either here this summer and this thread become nothing more then a platform for childish name calling and the likes.

That does make sense. But a little puerile silliness here is kind of fun. :p

I'm just messing around bro. We have an Arsenal fan who's a regular poster on here. He supports Barca too. So I like to tease a little. I have no problem at all with your club or its fans.

I do, however, think it's time you guys got rid of Wenger... but I have the feeling he's desperately clinging to the job, wanting to go out with a premier league title as vindication for the last 10 years. Or so it seems. Any other big club would have fired their manager after such a long period without success.

And I do think you'll have trouble attracting the likes of Vidal, who is a very important starter on a CL finalist, with 4 straight scudetti won. We're not a team that tends to sell its stars. Zidane is about the only good example of this in our history (excluding the Calciopoli exodus). And Zidane along with Juventus was coming off a poor couple seasons, in which Zidane had been very ostracized by the Italian media and fans of pretty much every club for beating Italy at Euro 2000. He forced his way out, and we received a world record fee.

Vidal seems very happy here, he talks about finishing his career here, how Turin feels just like home to him and his family, etc. Frankly, I just don't see him leaving, unless someone makes an absolutely absurd offer in the 60 mil+ range, which will never happen.

Anyways, cheers to you for not trolling.

It should be noted that most of the posters there are probably English and we all know how the English are when it comes to talking smack. You guys really shouldnt take them seriously and keep posting every comment of theirs over here.
Like Fint said, there are decent sets of fans too and i'd also assume some of them over there have got a bit too worked up from the lousy trolljob caused by the 2 juve fans over there.
Common guys,we are way more classier than this. They can live in their own delusional world for all i care.
