How credible is this Hernan Feler guy? Works for DirecTV.
It is the same guy who said that Sanchez would be arriving to Arsenal, but anyway lots of Arsenal fans are sceptical about the transfer because the fee would be huge and we have a lot of central midfielders. We know it would a huge one though and are dreaming it happens because Vidal is a great player.

Most Arsenal fans are also fans of another big club from some other league. Usually Barca. It's the I like Arsenal, but I really like Barca too because they play "attractive football" thing... Ask Fred about it. It's what happens when a club hasn't won a thing in 10 years, has never won either of the two big European cups, and celebrates 4th place finishes in the league because it means they get to lose in CL Rof16 again the next year.

So they desperately cling on to the success of a club like Barca, and try to make it their own.

Don't see the need to be so disrespectful of Arsenal fans as a whole, based on the comments of a few forum members.

Im not agreeing with their claims regarding Vidal, you'll always have those who'll believe anything they read in the paper (or twitter ), but lets not forget the Aguero thread shall we.

Generally, Arsenal fans tend to be the most level headed and respectful, at least in my experience.

Absolutely not true IMO, for me they are easily the most arrogant out of all EPL fans.

Perhaps it's just the ones i know then :boh:

Eitherway, I won't be getting my knickers in a twist because some attention seaker wants to post rumours about one of our players and some people want to buy into it as fact.

We're just having a laugh in here about Arsenal fans deluded into thinking their club is bigger and better than ours.... Go read their Vidal thread, pretty much every single one of them thinks this.

Aside from that, why on earth would you have a problem with Juventus fans on a Juventus forum laughing at Arsenal? I fail to see the problem with this?

Just trying to buck the trend I guess :D

If some fans of another club want to be disrespectful towards our club, maybe we can just rise above it and not lower ourselves to that level you know?

Guess I'm just not a fan of the whole 'forum trolling' thing anymore. I don't wanna see a ton of fake accounts set up either here this summer and this thread become nothing more then a platform for childish name calling and the likes.

It's quite unbelievable if a single Arsenal fan thought they were bigger than Juventus, biased or not. There is absolutely nothing to back that up whatsoever. Who else are they bigger than? Man Utd, Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona? Or are they just counting teams they currently have a larger turnover than, by virtue of location?

Vidal to Arsenal seems about 20% as likely as him going to Man Utd, and we all know how that ended up. He has always said how happy he is here and would stay for life, and he always seemed happier living somewhere like Italy (or indeed Spain) than in northern Europe, as he did with Leverkusen.

I'm sure there will be a lot of hot air from all these wonderful market experts around the world. At least with United there seemed some half credible motive for the player. It seems transfer windows now are just orgies infested on a daily basis with Twitter quotes from people trying to make a living on speculation, gossip and outright fabrication, and ravenous supporters baying for the latest big money signing so they can boast to friends or online about how great their team is and consequently how fulfilled they are in their lives.

Yeah, I'm not following this one this summer.

Some of you forgot who we signed in recent seasons I guess. Doesnt matter if we dont sign Vidal, but we will have big players interesting in moving here always.

Ridiculous statement. Every club has gone through bad periods, but it doesn't mean we then go and be fans of other clubs, no way.
