When we sold Zidane, we had a clear strategy and replaced him adequately (well, as best as we could, since you can never really replace someone like Zizou).

My fear is, if we end up selling Vidal, Marotta will bring in over-rated Serie A sacks of shit such as Guarin and Candreva.

Il Messaggero: If Vidal leaves, Juve are ready to offer 30m for Candreva. :klin:

But that was a very different time, 60-70m in this market is nothing. Serie a status etc. Going for young talent with potential is the only way forward. Just like marotta is doing with berardi, coman, sturaro. If we get 60-70m i hope he use it all on future talent.

That Fellaini-Mertens exchange could cancel Vidal's deal. I believe they would not continue to pursuit king Arthur as he is quite expensive not to only to buy but to maintain also. Thrice as expensive as Mertens probably

Marotta once again reiterated that the club and he are happy with each other.

This won't be laid to rest until the market closes though, even if Arturo came out tomorrow and said he was 100% staying.

Therefore, we shouldn't sell him, unless he absolutely demands to leave. I just have a feeling our board get wet when they see dollar signs, and that ultimately, it might not be Vidal pushing his way towards the exit door.

If Man Utd are to offer those 60M they could add Mata or RVP as well to make it worth looking at it or let them sign Cuadrado and then offer 40M+Cuadrado

Agree, much better to keep vidal. Considering juves situation, there is no chance to improve the team with vidal money.

Vidal never made the impression of being a dishonest man... Sofar he said he is happy here and the Club said they dont want to sell and Arturo never asked to leave... So he is staying!!!

Fingers crossed
