I wont hold it against Vidal if he wants to leave but the club should be doing everything to keep him, he is worth more than 60 million imo and we should only consider oil money offers as the guy is irreplaceable.

I really think that his agent might be pushing for a move, but United aren't willing to match our asking price and Vidal won't force a move on his own. He's satisfied with his life in Turin, signed a new contract, on a good salary, but this rumor simply won't go away. One of the most frustrating sagas, if there ever was something in it in the first place.

Really?

I honestly don't even feel like he's linked with Manchester at all. I mean, those numbers that I read are absolutely retarded and look so fake it's crazy.

That being said, if he does move there somehow, I'd probably cry myself to death.

I haven't read anything remotely legitimate that would suggest this guy is going anywhere at this point.

Also, when a coach publicly states that a player is fundamental to his plans, and the sporting director states that the player won't be sold unless he asks to leave, well, both of those statements are the same as the club saying that they don't want Vidal to go. As funny as that Vidal/Juve back and forth above is.

Given the way things have been destabilized with Conte's departure, it doesn't seem likely to me that the club sells its best player -- especially later in the market, as it typically becomes more difficult to replace said player effectively without overspending.

I think Vidal is going to have another excellent season, and sounds like we'll revisit this conversation a year from now.

But doesn't it annoy you a little bit to read every day yet another rumor (even fake) about Vidal and United?

Not at all. Probably because I'm confident he's staying and how links are way too poor to catch my attention.

I probably wouldn't sleep if it was L'Équipe reporting 60mln + bid from PSG. Or if it was Sky saying same numbers to Real/Barca/City. Not only these numbers that we were seeing are low but Manchester United? Seriously? No.. I just... no.

These rumors we've been seeing to me feel like it's tribalfootball reporting.

And that's coming from the man who has posted the most links to transfer stories in the history of juventuz.

Them days :touched:

However I should point out that losing Vidal is totally possible. I just don't see it happening now. But it's not going to be possible to keep both Vidal and Pogba on a long-term. I'd expect one to leave and most likely it's going to be next summer IMO.

I'm confident as well that he will stay and have been saying this all along, but merely pointing out how irritating English tabloids have been this summer. All the rumors have been taken from Chilean press and they seem to hold the grudge against us concerning Vidal's injury. But this won't go away until the end of transfer window, which is annoying by itself, since so far nothing credible have been reported and every rumor was shrugged off by either Marotta, Allegri or Vidal.

That's great.

And if they plan 3-4-1-2, shouldn't they go for a DM instead? Martinez would be the perfect choice for that lineup.
