He has got to be the best defensive midfielder in the world right now. But he is so much more than that. One of the best tacklers, works his a*ss off, does assists, and scores 10 goals a season. Makes me laugh about offers of 30m for the guy. I reckon he is worth MUCH more. He really makes a difference.

Midfield future looks bright because Pogba could potentially be on the same level soon.

Arturo Vidal insists he hasn’t renewed his contract and is “honoured” by Real Madrid interest, but wants “to win it all” at Juventus.

The Chilean international is hot property on the transfer market after a spectacular season in Turin.

There had been reports in recent weeks he’d agreed a contract extension to 2018 worth €4m plus bonuses per season.

“No, I have not renewed my contract,” Vidal told Spanish newspaper Marca. “I have a contract and we’ll see what happens.

“Real Madrid’s interest? It is an honour that such important clubs are tracking me, as all players are 'seduced’ by sides like that.”

However, the midfielder also spoke of his excitement about the season ahead with the Bianconeri.

“We want to win it all: Scudetto, Coppa Italia and Champions League. Carlos Tevez is a top class striker who can really help us in Europe.”

Does that mean after he wins it all he will leave?

Uncut answer on Tuttojuve:

"I want to reach many more milestones with Juve and I hope that the new season is full of successes like the past one and maybe even more. Renewal? I already have an existing contract with Juve, so the time aspect and then see what happens. Offers large club for me? Of course they do like it, but I already played at a big club like Juventus and my desire is to extend my stay in Turin. "

Never believe how the press likes to make a story out of a quote. Soon they will say: "Vidal flattered by Real....easy to be seduced by them - he still hasn't signed new contract" etc.

But the reality is, if I was Vidal and wanted to stay at Juve, I would never make it look like I am too eager to stay so I can negotiate a better contract....why not. Conte was playing that game before he signed too.
