don't know what you mean - my comment has nothing to do with how Juve got completely dominated by Bayern in both games, I am talking overall expectations of Juve fans about how Juve matches up with the top teams in Europe not being in line with reality.

Make no mistake, Bayern could have won both games vs juve by 3-4 goals, at least. Now, with barca losing 4-0, I fully expect you guys will be back at proclaiming Juve to be inferior to only 1-2 teams in Europe and Marchisio and Vidal and whatnot being WC players. This is little more than an illusion .. Italian football has taken a backseat in Europe now and I am not talking about a seat in the 2nd row either, more like 3rd and even 4th.
I agree with some of your post but if you think Vidal is not a WC player you are out of your mind. Marchisio not so much, but Arturo is obviously one of the very best midfielders right now.

You're wrong about one thing. Vidal IS world class.

But yes, people are rushing things. We're not on this level, far from it. Bayern is two classes above us, just like other top teams.
no, he is not - Vidal has the potential to be WC but is way too inconsistent for this right now ... maybe one day he will become it but not there yet.

I think most of us are aware we're quite a bit from their level. :)

Imagine Vidal in that Bayern team. I feel better about our loss now. I think we are the only team that can stop the dominaton of Bayern. BUT Conte must believe that we can do it.

Agreed. Vidal is great, but he's not among the world's elite by any stretch.

The guy can't play an NT match without getting banned for that matter.

You must be joking.

Not many players are even better than him, I mean on his position.
I am not joking - what you said is true in Italy and at the group-stage level of the CL - this is where Vidal can stick out of the overall mass of players ... beyond that, he is mostly about his potential, not final productivity.

Imagine him in Bayern it would be like Madrid in the 50s. But now that we have him we are the only team that can stop that from happening. We and especially Conte just need to believe.
