He cynically pulled back Willian after he'd been beaten in order to stop Willian getting into a dangerous position.

Clear booking, even if some refs would have let him off with it since it was early.

:agree: clear booking, though the commentator was right when he said that he had the right to feel a little hard done by since a Shakhtar defender got away with 2 fouls while didn't even get away with one.

It was an incredibly stupid play on Vidal's part. He wasn't in trouble and he probably could have recovered. After the yellow he woke up and had a great match.

I agree and interestingly, I don't think this is the first time I've heard that about him. Can't remember which match though.
